Everyone had been in position since daybreak and it is 14:00 already. They could not plant too many agents for the fear of making the enemy suspicious if there is too much traffic in the park. Nico is with Francois, a veteran French Legion soldier, well camouflaged and hidden amongst bushes on the bank of the BaakensRiver. He has the table where he met the professor last time on the other side of the BaakensRiver in the telescope of his sniper rifle. A Portuguese agent, Marco, is waiting in a car at the top How entrance and an English agent is stationed at the Target Kloof entrance also in a car in the parking area. The Brickmakers Kloof entrance hasn't got a suitable parking lot and a German agent, Heinrich, is watching it from a flat opposite. An agent in that small grass area in a misplaced car will look suspicious.

The team hopes that the occult will bring the professor and his daughter to the park as he predicted. This will be a golden opportunity to follow these people to their den. The team knows the occult has an apparatus that interferes with the drone's signals; thus the only way is to follow them by foot first and then with agents with alternating cars. A helicopter is on standby to help them from very high up so as not to be seen by the enemy. Everyone is well prepared and ready. Nico suspects that the team leader, Morrison, ordered Francois to watch him ensuring his orders are carried out meticulously.

The radio crackles and Nico hears Heinrich's strong German accent from the flat. "A black BMW has just parked down under at the entrance of Brickmakers Kloof on the grass. I'm now zooming in and will take the registration number for later. The windows are tinted, so I can't see how many occupants there are. Over."

Nico answers: "We copy and are ready. Over."

Richard speaks with his strong British accent from his car in Target Kloof. "Here also a black BMW stopped in the Target Kloof parking area with tinted windows. Over."

"Okay, we are ready. Over."

Morrison speaks quickly in his strong American accent from their control centre: "They are probably monitoring the radio frequencies, so, silence until someone emerges from the cars."

Nico and Francois are silently lying and waiting. Is it a coincidence that two identical BMWs arrived or is one carrying the professor and the other one his daughter? They will find out soon.

Eventually Heinrich's voice: "Action! Target 2 is being accompanied by two men and on their way from Brickmakers Kloof! Over."

Then also Richard's voice: "Target 1 is also on his way from Target Kloof with two men! Over."

Target 2 is Martie and 1 the professor. Martie and the men are parked nearer and should reach the picnic spot first. Francois searches through his binoculars and finds Martie and two sturdy men on either side of her while they are walking down to the place where Nico and Johan met the first time. He enlightens them in his heavy French accent: "Target 2 is in sight."

Nico focuses his sniper scope on the cove and the picnic table and waits. Francois puts his binoculars down and assembles his long-distance listening device. He puts on his earphones and focuses just like Nico on the picnic table. The apparatus looks just like a sniper rifle with a thin pipe that resembles a very long barrel of a rifle. Upon reaching the table one of the men sits down with Martie while the other one scrutinizes their surroundings. Nico lifts his head and again ensures that all glass is covered to make sure that the sun's reflection would not give them away and wreck everything and he sees Francois is also doing the same.

Morrison asks: "Spider Web 2, do you have eye contact and sound?"

Nico answers: "Eye contact on target 2. We are waiting for target 1."

Francois focuses on the man who is waiting with Martie. He turns up the volume on the enhancer of his listening device. He smiles when he achieves success and pushes a button and the voice of the man suddenly sounds loud and clear so that all of them can hear him over the radio.
