"Not everyone can sneak up on me that easily." Loki laughed menacingly, he was facing the back wall of his glass cage. His hands were clasped together behind his back and his body was completely straight: you didn't have to know who he was to know he was raised by royalty.

"But you knew I would come eventually?" I smiled at what I assumed was a compliment by him. He hadn't turned around but I knew for sure he was returning the smile: at least I hoped he was.

He didn't reply to me at first, he only glanced up at the red flashing light of the camera near his cell and he nodded. Was he shy of the security cameras?
"And why did you think I would come and talk to you?"

"We have unfinished business." Loki referred to the German gala and finally turned around to me, his eyes were a burning blue colour with the smallest hint of emerald green in each eye that looked out of place. Somehow his jet black hair was flawless as well as his clothes. His face made it clear he was up to no good since there was a huge smirk planted on his lips.

"You are staring." At that second he smiled instead of the devilish smirk he seemed to wear every time someone saw him for a split second and the emerald in his eyes lit up ever so slightly before fading more than they had been previously.

My face lit up red when he informed me of what I had been doing. I didn't realise how long I had been looking at him but I had to make up a lie quickly,
"Don't judge me for it. I was just questioning why your hair looks like an angry Christmas tree."

"Lovely observation, Lady..?" The god awaited my name. His face remained neutral but I could tell he was shocked at my statement since when I told him that he stroked his hair slowly as if that would change anything.

"Agent." I corrected him, I hate being called Lady or Ma'am since it sounds just so formal and I hate being formal.

"Lady Agent?" A snorted and quickly covered my mouth when he didn't take my reply the right way. Why on earth would I be called Lady Agent?

"It's Strange." I was smiling so much that my face was hurting. If I could see myself I would probably slap myself in the face for looking like such an idiot. The worst part was that all the Avengers were more than likely watching my conversation and rolling their eyes.

"Yes, it is rather peculiar." His smirk had already left his face and he walked closer to the glass door I was standing in front of. When he stopped walking he looked past me to the panel with many button on it and pointed to a grey one that had a red dot in the centre of it.

I hesitated at first but finally I walked away from the cell to press the rather large button near the top right of the selection of controls. Immediately after I did so the cameras all turned off and Loki took one more step closer to the glass that separated him from the rest of the ship.

"You are very obedient." I didn't understand why he got me to deactivate the cameras or why he was scared of them in the first place but to be honest I was relieved that none of my friends could see me being an absolute joke.

"Obedience is not in my nature." I walked away from the control panel back to the God of Mischief to await what he meant by unfinished business.

"And surrender isn't in mine." Loki's eyes turned completely blue at that sentence. Whatever that meant, it didn't seem good. The block colour eyes that he had now looked exactly like Hawkeye's after he was possessed: Tesseract blue.

"Don't lie Greenie, you surrendered in Germany." I rolled my eyes and folded my arms over my chest just to over-exaggerate my point. "Or was that just part of your master plan?"
