“This trip is unnecessary.”

John looked up at Sherlock and sighed softly. “We need to pay for food.” John said. Sherlock pouted.

“We could live off of Angelo's restaurant for all our lives. We get our food free.” Sherlock said.

John reached up and ruffled his hair. “No.” He smiled. “I need food. Good food. I can't live off the same food all my life.”

Sherlock rolled his eyes. “Well technically, you could--”

“Uh-uh-uh!” John interrupted him. He took his boyfriend's hand, leading him up in the line and taking the place of where the previous people had been.

Suddenly, they heard the alarms, and a shout, “Everyone get to the floor!”

John squeaked, falling to the floor with everyone else, except Sherlock. Sherlock didn't move. He kept standing. He looked at the people who broke in. They were all dressed in black, masks over their faces. There was only two.

“What are you doing?” Asked the one on the left.

Sherlock smirked, then took a deep breath.

“Why are you here? Your wife is expecting a baby. She's at the hospital, possibly in labour, and you're holding up a bank? You should be supportive. I know you don't need money. You own three frankly expensive cats and live in a good house with a taken care of lawn and fresh garden.”

“What--” he stepped back.

Sherlock smiled. “I can see you have insomnia, and your friend over there,” he gestured to the other one. “Is transgender.”

“What--!” They both shrieked.

Sherlock shrugged. “Of course, it doesn't matter. He has been identifying as a male ever since… he was thirteen.”

“How could you tell?” Yelled the transgender one.

Sherlock smiled mysteriously. “You should probably go home. You left your garage open.”

They were pretty freaked out, so they ran out of there. Sherlock leant over and helped John up. “Are you okay, my dear?” He whispered.

John nodded and smiled softly, leaning up and kissing Sherlock's lips. “I'm okay, because of you.”

The people in the bank cheered. Sherlock saved them all!

John was definitely going to give Sherlock some well deserved affection when they got home.
