"Wouldn't it be cute if we had matching sweaters?" John asked, sitting down on his chair. Sherlock looked up, watching John pick up the newspaper and start reading.

"Wouldn't that make us look like a couple?" Sherlock asked, looking back down to his laptop.

"Yes, but wouldn't it be cute?"

"I don't want to wear matching sweaters." Sherlock sighed quietly.

"You're just shy." John pouted

Sherlock frowned softly. "You already bought the sweaters, didn't you?" He asked.

John nodded. "Yes, I did," he smiled widely. He got up and found the sweaters, then gave it to Sherlock. "You better wear it!" He giggled softly.

Sherlock sighed and put it on. John held out a really small one. "Look," He said. "I got one for the kitten, too."

Sherlock rolled his eyes. John went out to find the kitten they were fostering. One of their friends had a pregnant cat, and they needed a place for the babies, so John and Sherlock took one. It was going to be adopted by someone else soon. For now, she was just an excuse for John to buy cat sweaters.

He sat at his chair and put the cat in a sweater. "Look, we're all matching." He smiled, petting the kitten. Sherlock sighed and continued his research.

He was dating such a dork.
