i am a wreck. a ship wreck? plane wreck? i don't know. any type of wreck. it's been 3 months since the boy that i've loved the most put a bullet in his head. he's alive but not here. i spent an entire month in the hospital until i was forced to go back to school. people tried. they tried so hard to make me laugh or even give a smile. but i was dead inside. correction: i am dead inside.
i walk into school, my hood up and my (H/T) hair a mess. i open my locker and throw my books in before closing it such. behind stood zach dempsey looking down at me. "damn it, zach. you scared me. why are you standing there?" i mumble looking at the taller boy. "he's back. him and jess." zach whispers. "oh." i say barely hearing myself. "are you going to-?" his sentence was cut off by someone tapping on my shoulder. i turn around and catch a glimpse of jess' curly hair. "oh my god, hi!" i say excitedly throwing my arms around her. "woah, you smiled." zach mumbles. "how have you been?" she asks releasing from the hug. "i wish i could say great.you?" i ask. "same. look down the hall." she whispers in my ear. i look over her shoulder and see the one and only alex standall. i cover my mouth in shock and run down the hall, jumping into his arms. he let's go of his cane and wraps both of his arms around me. "i love you so much. don't ever do this again, please." i say crying into his shoulder. "i won't. not now, not tomorrow, not ever." he whispers planting a kiss on my head. "i promise."
