"dad, why can't i just get sherri or-or tony to get me a ride home? i don't want to stay here." i whine following him into the locker room. "because, you. are. grounded." he says sternly. "what? why?" i throw my hands in the air. "because of this." he says pointing at me. "you're kidding, right? i have to stay because i have an attitude?" i exclaim raising my eye brows. "yes, and you have an F in geometry." i hear slight snickers come from some of the boys, including jeff, who's is fact doing way worse then me. "jeff don't even laugh. you have F in like 3 classes, bud." i say sarcastically smiling at him. he puts his hand on his chest pretending to be offended. i roll my eyes and turn my attention back to my dad. "how many days will i stay after school?" i ask. "mmm. what do you think, boys. 2 weeks or a month?" he asks smirking. "a month." they all yelled staring me down. "dad, there all horny little teenage boys. why are you letting them choose?" i ask pinching the bridge of my nose. "because they like me more then you." he says patting my shoulder. "whatever." i huff and sit on the wooden bench. "hey dempsey, stop staring at my daughter, will you?" coach calls out pointing his pen at him. "sorry." he mumbles, blushing. "aww, zachy has a crush." bryce says mockingly. he groans loudly and i look down with a smile plastered on my face. he's adorable.
