i slam my locker shut and sigh before walking to my first class. i hear a camera shutter and look to my right to see tyler down taking yearbook pictures. i shake my head and laugh but before heading off i look again and see montgomery walk over to tyler. "what the hell are you doing?" he says getting close to tyler. "n-nothing. i-i-i was just t-taking yearb-book pictures." tyler stutters. "no. you leave her alone, freak." he says resting a hand on tyler's shoulder. he slightly flinches before walking away. "can you be nice for two seconds?" i say laughing. "i'm just overprotective. you're my girl. i don't need to whole school seeing your pretty face when it's all mine." he says grabbing my hand. "that is the sweetest and cheesiest thing you've ever said to me. i love it. and you." i say smiling. "i love you too." he pecks my check and walks me to class, without ever letting my hand go. "you're one lucky girl, (Y/N). never thought montgomery had a soft side." hannah whispers as i take my seat next to her. "yeah, me either. he's really great. i love him, like a lot."
