2nd POV

Silence. That's how it was the next day. You had gone home early in the morning.
The drive home was silent. Your parents didn't talk.
  Silence.
You went to school that morning, same as the boys. No one asked about it.
  Silence.
During lunch no one talked about it.
  Silence.
When you got home, your parents didn't ask how your day was or what happened.
  Silence.
You went to your bedroom and lied in bed for hours in...
  Silence.

You couldn't live like this. You needed some type of sound. You called Lafayette. While you were waiting for him to pick up, your father shouted from downstairs, "Don't do anything stupid while we're gone!" You could hear your mother scolding him for saying that like he meant that getting pregnant was stupid. You heard them leave. As soon as the front door closed, Lafayette picked up the phone.
"Finally you answered!" You giggled slightly as he sadly chuckled. You heard him sniffle a little. You became confused. "A-... Are you okay?" He paused for a moment.
"Oui..." He sniffed again. Your thoughts scattered. Was his parents angry at him? Did they do something to him? Is that why he has symptoms of being abused? But in all, was he late to answering because he was crying?
"What's going on? Why are you crying?" He sniffed again.
"Well... I um..." He started sobbing over the phone and French words spewed out of his mouth. Words that were unintelligible.
"Okay, okay. Calm down, Laffy. Calm down."
After a minute or so of calming him down, he finally told you. His explanation consisted of the night of what happened to everyone and then the day that specifically only you had to explain to the parents of what happened.
He felt bad that you had to go through seeing everyone get hurt and have what happened to you from Lee. Also the part that he didn't help you explain to the parents and he made you go through it.
Even though your father said not to do anything stupid, you invited Laf over and he soon came. You both hung out downstairs and eventually invited the whole Hamilsquad over. Surprisingly, everyone was able to come. Your living room was large, so you opened all the curtains, bringing in a lot of happy, joyful light.
You put on some bomb ass Be More Chill and also listened to Dear Evan Hansen along with some loud Katy Perry.
Everyone jammed out and sang at the top of their lungs while John sometimes ran up the stairs, ran down the stairs and jumped at the last step, making him slide across the room. He flipped the couch over once, too. It was fun. Joyful. And happy. It was amazing.

  The silence was finally over.
