The Mets won 53 games in 1964 which is an improvement from our first two seasons in baseball hell. The Mets know they are just a few years away from making something click more on that later. The New York Mets has been struggling every season so season they've played. Hopefully New York can be legitimate a few years from this point in the story but we have a long way to go in this story of pain and glory. The Mets started off a little rough but they will make it work sooner or later here in Queen's, New York.
