The Mets won 82 games in 1975 with two managers leading the team to a tie for third place in the NL east. Tom Seaver and Rusty Staub leads the Mets to a pretty solid season. New York doesn't have the same core it once did as in the two best pitchers in the league at the time but we have to build around our best pitcher we've had during this time period. The Mets haven't been terrible but we haven't put the pieces together to take home the comissioner's trophy but there's more success to come later in the story. I hope.
