Graduation

The next morning, I woke up by getting tickled by Amelia, my team mate and roommate. "Get up Crazy bedhead." I put my hand on her face and pushed her back. She fell but landed just in time. "You could've killed me!" "No, after all we are trained right." "Sheesh, you," She climbed back up and pulled me down with her. "Ow." I joked as we both hit the hard wood floor. Ren sighed in disappointment and Max just chuckled as he put his jacket on. Our door opened. It was Jack. "Wow, look at you Minomi! It's your graduation day, it feels like I found you yesterday." I got up and helped Amelia up. "Yup." He ruffled my hair. And I grabbed his wrist. "I'm not a kid anymore Jack, I'm 24." He pouted and nodded. "Guess you're right." Then he tugged on my cross necklace. "You still wear it since back then?" "Yup." He smiled and ruffled my hair again. "Are you going to be a rescuer like me?" Ren interrupted as he put his jacket on. "Nope she wants to be a hunter." Jack looked at me. "Wait, really?" I nodded as he looked deeply into my black hair. "I see." Amelia tried putting me in a headlock when I dodged her mad grabbed her wrist before she ran into the wall. "Wow you saved my life!! How shall I thank you." " no." I said as she she gave me puppy dog eyes. "Not a kiss." I said as I slipped on my jacket. Jack smiled and snapped. "After graduation let me invite you to dinner." "Okay, but can my siblings come too?" "Of course Min." He left, while waving. I smiled at remembering all he had done for me so I didn't have such a hard time here at the academy. We walked out to the crowd. I looked over the other crowd and I noticed my sisters. Kura has black hair in a rare and she wore a blue dress with a white corset. Ani had a red dress and a red parasol. They seemed very ladylike. Then I saw Uui, or what I call her Uehara, she had her blond hair to her shoulders and she wore a pale blue dress. She seemed to be looking for me in the vast group of graduates I smiled when her eyes met mine. She waved and I waved back. "Your  sisters are here." Max said. "They look pretty and ladylike unlike you." Both Amelia and I punched him lightly in the face. "It's not gentleman like to bully a lady." We Both said in unison. "Just saying." Our fists became tighter. Ren grabbed both of our wrists. "Shut up kids and pay attention we are going to get called up soon. " I sat down and looked up to our instructor. The true Belmont, Johan Belmont, the first Vampire hunter of this clan. He looked at the paper and called up people. When I heard my name. "Minomi Vascanovich." I got up from my seat and I walked forward. He grabbed a cross necklace from his box when he noticed I already wore one. He smiled gently as he put the cross back into the box. "Jack is a sweet kid isn't he."  He whispered as he grabbed a blue velvet box. He opened it and showed it to me. A silver dagger with the Belmont family crest. And a Ruby. " Minomi Vascanovich, a Lone Hunter, take this dagger," I grabbed the dagger and raised it into the sky, I looked into the ruby and saw my reflection. I remembered how I looked twelve years ago and then I noticed I had grown a lot. I lowered it and lightly tapped it against my heart. "Here is the new birth of our next Lone Hunter, no longer a Vascanovich, Minomi Belmont." I put the dagger into its sheath and I bowed at the instructor. "Thanks Johan, for always being so kind." He smiled and handed me a box with my hunter clothes. I walked off the stage and ran into my room. I changed out of my academy and I put on my new clothes. They were a pair of black pants, a long black jacket with the family crest embroidered in one arm. A whip, and a long sword. And a pair of long black boots. This may not have been considered right for a lady, but I liked them. I smiled at my reflection in the mirror. "Minomi Belmont." I liked that name. I walked out to the crowd and called out for my sisters. "Uehara!! Kura! Ani!" They heard me and ran towards me. All three of them hugged me at once. Kura looked me over. "Your clothes isn't proper sis." "I like it." Uehara said as she pulled on the ruffle on my pants. Ani smiled. "But it definitely does suit you." "Where's Sean?" I asked as I looked at them with a smile. "He's out of the city, he had to go deliver stuff to our old small town." Uehara rolled her eyes. "More like visiting his girl Maria." I smiled. It seems my brother still hasn't stopped loving Maria. I let them carry me away around the crowd when I heard a loud man screaming. "That's my baby girl!" It was Jack. Once he saw me he threw me up into the air and swung me around like if I were a rag doll. He finally put me down on my feet and helped me stand straight. " so a Lone Hunter huh?" He asked. "I'm curious what rating Lone Hunter you'll be." "I'm proud of my self." I said as the five of us walked towards the city. " Minomi Belmont." He said. "It sounds good." "Does it?" I asked. He bit his lip. "Yes, we carry the same last name, like a married couple ." Both Kura and Ani, kicked him in the legs. "In your dreams Jack, she's my sister." "Sorry sorry." I ruffled his hair. "Stop acting childish Jack." He followed behind us as we walked towards a nearby cafe. He opened the door for us and we walked in. The woman from the city looked at me in disbelief. "That woman is wearing pants, what a shameless girl." I could hear them whisper. I sat down in front of my sisters, Jack sat next to me. "I'll have an ale please." I ordered. "I want one.." I stopped my sister. "You're still underage absolutely not."  "Fine." Kura pouted as she looked away in disappointment. We drank and ate to our hearts content, when I noticed a suspicious man sitting in the corner alone. I put my cup of ale down and kicked Jack under the table to make him look the same direction I was. He nodded. "It's a possibility Min." "Let me See." I tugged on my whip under my jacket then I walked over to the man still carrying my ale. "Good day sir." I started. He looked up at me and smirked. "What is it young lady?" "May I take a seat here with you?" He motioned for me to take a seat. I sat down in front of him when the woman behind me whispered to her husband. "Look how shameless she is, she just sat down with a man." The man smirked. "So what does a hunter have to do with me?" He asked as his eyes locked with mine. Then I noticed he was just a human and nothing more.  "I was just curious." He smirked again, and pulled out a badge. "I'm Rafael Belmont, grandson of  Johan Belmont." "Rafael Belmont." I stuttered. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "A pleasure to meet you new Belmont. What's your name?" He asked as he still held my hand. "Minomi Vas...Belmont." "Interesting, a Lone Hunter, I heard about you from my Gramps."
