Bella felt a bit eager, as we approached the town I once called home. Probably because she could see the marketplace filled with fruits and vegetables. "So this is your hometown Minomi."
"Yup." I said adding a small popping sound to the p. He glanced over the place. The village woman waved at us. And the young girls gossiped amongst themselves. I saw a herd of sheep passing by us. When the farmer stood out to me. I made my horse gallop a bit, so I could catch up with the farmer. He noticed me approaching him when his jaw dropped. "Minomi Vascanovich! Is that you?!"I knew he seemed familiar. "James." Rafael caught up and smirked. "Minomi Belmont." James smile faded. "Belmont? Are you married?" He asked looking at me. Rafael interrupted me. "Engaged to I, the great Rafael Belmont." I glared at him. "I'm a lone hunter from the Belmont clan." I muttered quietly. James smiled. "Ah I see...you did forget me." Rafael smirked as if he won a war. "She most definitely did." "Thats rude Rafael." I said as I punched his shoulder. "Isn't it?" He teased.
Rafael got off his horse and tried to help me down. Instead I kicked him in the face. "Move it Rafael. I'm getting off."
"I'll catch you." I sighed then nodded. I jumped into his arms, and he helped me get down. "I feel like a child." I teased.
"No, you're just short."
James frowned. "So Min? When is the wedding?"
Rafael smirked. "Not your business."
"He means he doesn't know." I said as I tied my hair back into a ponytail. "Shush wife."
"Don't call me that yet." I said as I walked over to James and pet the sheep. "It's been a while James."
"Yeah, since you're family....well where'd you move to?"
"The bigger city, with the Belmont Clan."
He ruffled his hair and frowned. "Unfortunately, your house was sold Min."
"Wait when! By who? Who said they could sell it. That was my house!" I screamed as I shook him. "Your brother sold it, to a man."
I kicked at the pebbles in the floor. "No. It can't be."
"You can still visit though, he said you could, the buyer." I glanced over to Rafael.
"Could I go visit my house a bit."
Rafael shrugged. "I mean if you want to go ahead. We can meet up here later."
"Okay." I got back on Bella and did a quick ride towards my house. I could smell the Lavender, just like back then. Bella stopped as if she felt my deep sadness when I saw my home. The grape vine had grown over the sides of the house making it look like the ones you find in fairytales. I dismounted Bella, gave her a small pat in the head. Then I walked into the house. I looked around the place, the items were still where we left it. I walked up the stair case towards my room. I opened the door, there was a man. He turned around and looked a bit startled. His blue eyes sparkled a bit. He had a sad expression. His lips parted. He had long silver hair tied back into a ponytail. "Um..." I said breaking the silence which startled him even more. "You must be the buyer. I'm guessing." I said in a quiet tone. He nodded and smiled a sad smile. "Welcome to your home. Miss Vasconavich."
"It's Belmont, Sir."
He looked a bit startled again. "Oh a Belmont. As in the Vampire hunters or are you married to one?"
"I guess we could say both." His sad smile faded a bit and he nodded.
His voice was a bit alluring. It interested me. He smiled and started walking towards the door. "I'll leave you alone, I'm guessing I'd only disturb you if I stayed." He left me alon in my room. Who was that man. Whoever he was, it made me curious. Why would he buy this home? I looked around my old room. My old fashion designs. I ripped off a page from the wall. Then I remembered,
"Minomi, you'll be the best fashion designer out there." Dad said as he rocked me In his arms. "Really Papa?" "You bet my little girl."
I came back to reality when I felt a presence behind me. I turned around and stared at the man. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to startle you."
"It's okay. I was daydreaming it's nothing."
He smiled again and motioned towards the door. "Would you care for a cup of tea?"
I thought of Rafael but, darn it was Tea. "Sure." I followed him downstairs to the kitchen. He passed me a cup of tea. He served himself a cup as well. I sipped my tea staring at his perfect features. "Something the matter miss?"
"No. It's just. Never mind." He chuckled a bit.
"Is it my features?" I coughed a bit.
"No...I must leave my fiancée must be waiting for me at the town."
"Oh you have a fiancée."
"Yes, his name is Rafael Belmont." I got up bowed and walked out the door. "Bella let's go." I mounted my horse and rode back into town. Rafael was waiting for me with his arms wide open. "Give me a hug love." "No." I kicked him lightly in the face with my boot. He chuckled and looked at the people around us. "See she loves me." I sighed and dismounted my horse. I gave him a small hug before I walked off towards the well. He followed behind me. "Are you going to investigate the well?" "Yes, to see if they left traces." He nodded. I stared into the well. I could see the blood marks against the well. "They left a lot of traces."
