Chapter 16

The Battle

Savitar came through the portal as the students and teachers ducked for cover.

Barry saw Savitar and grabbed Kara's hand. Kara searched intentionally for her kids.

Tony saw Peter. Natasha had just told the Avengers Peter's secret. Tony wanted to hug and yell at the kid all at the same time.

Violet used her powers to block metal from hitting kids.

Rosemary ran to her brothers and their girlfriends.

Jessica held Peter's hand as they stared at the horror around them.

Lazari walked over to Toby, who was in a line with all the other brothers and sisters.

The tension grew. And then. The fight broke out.

The Avengers were fighting the tougher enemies. The SuperFlash Team and Legends went after Savitar.

Kids went into the school for safety, like the teachers were telling them too.

But some didn't listen.

Jessica, Peter, Jack, Zack, and Rosemary all stayed to fight.

As the fighting was going on, Peter was assisting his father and the rest of the Avengers.

Rosemary, Jack, and Zack were helping one another against some of the enemies.

And Jessica and Lazari met face to face.

"Guess you really are Nightmare now.", Jessica said.

"I have always been Nightmare!", Lazari spat. "Just this time, I won't be being a buddy buddy with you." Lazari spread out her wings. "I'm going to kill you."

"I can easily deadest you."

"Not if you are having excruciating pain throughout your body."

Toby used his abilities to make Jessica scream in pain. She couldn't fight it. Lazari smirked as she grabbed a knife out of her pocket.

Rosemary heard the scream and super speeded towards Toby. But Toby stopped her as he made her scream in pain as well. Jack and Zack then came and the same thing happened to them.

Barry was fighting Savitar with all his might. It was due or die.

Kara heard her children's screams and her anger activated her heat vision. Toby couldn't stop it from hitting him in the chest. Toby screamed out in pain as the light went away from his eyes.

Jessica stopped screaming and Lazari noticed. She turned and saw Toby- dead. Lazari dropped her knife and rushed to Toby's side.

Barry and Savitar were in a heated competition. Barry saw what Kara did and then decided to let his anger out. He got rid of Savitars armor and then Sara Lance stabbed him through the heart.

Savitar collapsed and disappeared. Sara got her totem back.

Lazari wanted to kill Kara for what she did. No. She wanted to kill the people she loved. Lazari saw Rosemary still tired out from what Toby did to her. She used her shadow powers to try and strangle her, but Zack got to Lazari first.

"Touch my sister and I will make you pay.", Zack said.

"Your outnumbered.", Jack added helping Rosemary up.

Lazari looked around as Savitar was gone, Toby was gone, and her brothers and sisters were either dead or being imprisoned.

"It's over Lazari.", Jessica said. "Have fun in prison."

"Go to tell Hell Jessica.", Lazari spat.

Lazari was put in cuffs and dragged away.

"You kids should of stayed inside with the others.", Principal Steve Rogers said.

"I couldn't stand by and watch something terrible happen.", Jessica replied.

"Speaking of terrible.", Tony said. Peter looked up at his dad. "We need to talk."

"I know.", Peter replied.

The students were then let out and Ally ran towards Jack.

"Thank god you are ok.", Ally said pulling Jack into a kiss.

Adam than came up to Rosemary.

"I'm such a wimp.", Adam said. "I should of been out there helping you."

"It's ok.", Rosemary said. "I am actually glad you stayed inside. I don't know what I would of done if you got hurt."

"Me neither."

Adam held Rosemary's hand as Rosemary blushed. Jessica than caught up to Peter and his dad.

"Peter! Wait!", Jessica yelled.

"Jessica? What is it?", Peter asked. "I have to-"

Peter was cut off by Jessica kissing him.

"I'll see you during the summer.", Jessica said.

Peter just stood there as Jessica walked off.

Heroes were trying to calm down kids and villains were being escorted away.

"Sir! We are coming up on the coordinates of the infinity stones."

"Good. Savitar may of failed to destroy Earth, but I won't fail."
