Starry Nights

*Kat's P.O.V*
I sneak out of the room with my blanket while Isabel is sleeping and Jasmines on the floor. I run out to find a way to climb onto the roof just to view the ocean. I use to sneak out onto the roof all the time just to get a view of the world. I find a safe way up and just collapse on the roof. I look out at the crashing ocean waves and breath in the somewhat salty water air it was still beautiful even if mostly everything had been destroyed.

"Kat?"I heard someone say behind me, but of course I recognized that voice.

I turn around to see Kaden "What?"

"What are you doing up here? It's dangerous,"Kaden said.

"Can I just not be pregnant for 5 seconds? Can I just not pretend? I just want to look at the ocean and the sky everybody's freaking out about the baby. I know I need to be careful, but...Why me Kaden? Why did I have to get pregnant if I just didn't drink the wine,"I said starting to cry.

Kaden comes over to me and embraces me as I fall into his chest crying "Shh Shh Shh. It's okay don't say that. Everything happens for a reason, and hey if we are meant to be parents well I'm glad you're the mom of my kid."

"But I'm not cut out to be a mom I'm not mature, I'm not smart, how am I gonna take care of a baby,"I said.

"Kat look at me,"Kaden said cupping my face with his hands and getting me to look him in the eyes those gorgeous blue eyes. "You're gonna be just fine I'm just as scared as you are, but you know what you're gonna be a great mother, and don't feed me that crap that you are gonna be a bad mom you'll do just fine you've kept Abie safe when this all went down, and even me! You've got the schedule down, memorized what you need to do, and everything else. Kat if you think you're gonna be a bad mother then I guess I'm gonna be the worse father in the world."

Kaden wipes my tears away I smile he leans in to kiss me, and I kiss back, this was my actual first kiss that I remember strange isn't it? Most people say kisses are just kisses, but my stomach was doing flips, I felt as if I just floated to heaven, like I just got swept off my feet and all my worries were gone, it was electric, magnetic because we were just so attracted to each other we didn't wanna pull away and I got goosebumps.
I pulled away anyways to get air and looked at him "I should Uh...Go."

"I'm sorry,"Kaden apologized.

I started to walk away not wanting to, I just wanted to feel his lips against mine again it's what I'd been missing my whole life. I jump off the roof and head back to my room sneaking into the bed trying not to wake Isabel. I look up at the ceiling and smile everything felt so perfect.

I wake up to the sun glimmering through the windows, I smile remembering last nights past events I get up out of bed skipping around and singing.

"Wake up Izzie! Wake up Jazzy,"I sang.

"Kat why are you up so early,"Isabel groaned.

"Because it's time to be up,"I said still smiling.

"No you're never up early,"Isabel said sitting up. "What happened to my best friend are you a clone?"

I laugh and grab a pillow to smack her with it "No! You're hilarious."

"Then what is it?"Isabel asked. "Are you possessed?"

"Kaden and I kissed on the roof last night under the stars,"I said dreamily.

"What? You climbed the roof? Is the baby okay? Are you okay? But other than that eeeekkkk wait I thought you hated him?"Isabel asked.

"I'm fine, the baby is also fine, and I didn't really I just hated him at some points, but last night when he kissed me. I swear I floated away,"I said.

"You ain't fly away too far right,"Isabel said laughing.

"Be serious!! We kissed and I was sober! It was my first kiss that I remember clearly,"I said.

"Alright alright sorry. I'm proud of you and I'm not just saying that I'm glad you finally got your first kiss that you count."Isabel said. "How'd it happen?"

"Well we were on the roof, right?"I said.

"Right,"Isabel said.

"Then I was all emotional over the baby and stuff so he came over and was all sweet and stuff and comforted me, and he was just really sweet, then when he was wiping my tears away we kissed,"I said.

"Awww babes I'm so proud of you,"Isabel said.

"Thank you! Me too!"I said.

"How about we go get some breakfast dreamy girl,"Isabel said.

"Yes! Let's go,"I said dragging her out of the room and down to the kitchen where Abie and Mason were cooking.

"Oohhh What are you guys cooking?"Isabel asked.

"We are cooking food,"Abie said. "Now shut up and sit we will deliver you your food once we are done."

"Damn alright,"Isabel said laughing.

Everybody comes to sit with us at the table except for Mason and Abie. I look at Kaden daydreaming. He was wearing sweatpants, no shirt, and his hair was messy it looked good too.

"Kat you good?"Isabel asked me laughing.

"Huh,"I said breaking out of my daze. "I'm good."

"Well alright kissing girl,"Isabel said.

"Isabelll no,"I said blushing.

Kaden looked at me and winked, and I swear my face turned the brightest shade of red out there.

"Bon apetit your breakfast is served,"Abie said handing us our plates full of food.

I look over at Parley who is not looking happy whatsoever.

"Hey Abie bet you're pregnant now too,"Parley said out of nowhere.

I stood up from my chair "Excuse me what'd you say about me?! Is that an insult?"

"I don't know you sisters are just the same right,"Parley said.

Abie looked at him tears forming in her eyes "Shut up."

Abie walked out and ran out the door and Mason chased after her.

"Parley don't talk about Kat like that,"Kaden said.

"I mean it's true,"I said still smiling it's like nothing could break my spirit today. "I am pregnant."

Maybe I wasn't hurt by that, cause It was Kaden's baby, plus what was there to get hurt by.
