Chapter 25

Walking along the sea shore, Y/n admired the clear waters beside her. The smile on her face was contagious enough to make Jungkook, who was looking at her from a distance, smile like an idiot. He looked at her gorgeous form with pure love, the amount of times he found himself staring at her was unbelievable. Never did he think he could fall this deep in love with a woman only within a couple months.

However, after a couple minutes of smiling to himself, that smile turned into a frown as he saw a male figure approach Y/n. A part of him was telling himself to go up and protect her but another part of him was telling him to just trust her, that she could handle it on her own. He watched as her face showed pure confusion and disgust at the figure in front of her. Disappointed that he was too far away to fully hear their conversation, he shifted his gaze to his phone to check the messages that were sent.

Meanwhile with Y/n, "Hey princess, you look great today." the man said, eyeing her up and down. Y/n resisted the urge to gag at his remark and just simply nodded whispering a small "Thank you".  He didn't seem to get the hint as he tried to wrap his arm around her, she took a couple steps back, almost tripping due to shock. "Um, I'm not single, I'm sorry." she bowed and turned around to walk away.

A grip on her wrist stopped her from walking any further, she turned her head to look at the wrist then shifted her gaze to the face of the person. "Sir, I already told you-" he shook his head, "I'm not taking that as an answer, plus, what kind of dude would let his girl wear this on a beach and walk alone?" She was about to respond, quite angry about the remark he made about her very own husband however a voice behind the man cut her off.

"Me. Now leave my wife alone before I make you." The man turned to face the voice while keeping a grip on Y/n who was smirking, knowing who it was without even looking at the figure. "This is your wife? How'd she get so unlucky?" the man scoffed and shook his head, he turned around and smirked. "This douchebag thinks he stands a chance with you-", Y/n pulled her arm out of the guys grasp before watching Jungkook turn the man around and punch him right in the stomach. 

"I told you once and I won't tell you again, Leave my  wife alone." Jungkook spat out as he made his way towards you, gently taking your hand in his and leaving the groaning man on the sand. Gathering their stuff, Y/n took a look at her husband, seeing him quite frustrated. Believe it or not, a part of her was slightly happy that Jungkook stuck up for her, he somehow looked quite...hot. 

They made their way back to their room in silence, not one of them daring to speak out first. Jungkook opened the door and stepped aside to let Y/n walk in first, following behind her and making sure that the door was locked properly. "Go shower." he said bluntly, giving her a towel gently despite his cold tone. Y/n nodded, taking her clothes and the towel then making her way into the bathroom.

The frustrated man decided to sit in the balcony instead of on the bed because he didn't want to ruin the fresh sheets, plus he was not quite dry yet. He looked at the scene before him, people roaming on the beach with their soulmates and some even with their kids. Seeing the kids play around made Jungkook smile despite being slightly pissed, sure he wanted kids with Y/n but if she wasn't ready he wouldn't force her into anything.

They were still in an early stage of their marriage and wanted to enjoy their time together, just the two of them. A few minutes of admiring went by before he felt a weight on his shoulder. He side-eyed the figure and saw it was just Y/n who placed her chin on his shoulder. "You can go shower now, Kook." she said followed by a small peck on his cheek.

Jungkook resisted the urge to smile and nodded, he waited for her to get her head off his shoulder so he doesn't accidentally hurt her. Standing up, he gave her a peck on her lips and made his way to the bathroom after gathering his stuff.  "I love you" she heard him whisper before disappearing into the bathroom.
