Chapter 29

Three days later, the sick feeling in Y/n's stomach hadn't gone away and so Jungkook made the executive decision to take his wife to the doctor. At about two in the afternoon, they left to make their way to the hospital feeling nervous. Neither of them had a clue what was happening to Y/n and they hadn't told any of their relatives because they didn't want them to worry. Finally arriving at the parking lot of the hospital, they got out of the car and went in.

Jungkook had gotten a reservation that he didn't tell Y/n about, he got an appointment yesterday so he would take her to the hospital today without an issue. Walking into the room with the doctor, Mrs.Lee(the doctor) asked them to both take a seat next to each other. "So Mrs.Jeon, tell me what you've been experiencing lately.", Y/n told her about all the symptoms she had such as vomiting, nausea, breast pain, and extreme tiredness.

Taking note of all the symptoms Y/n experienced, she took a while before coming up with a suspicion. "When are you supposed to have your period?" Y/n checked the app she had installed on her phone to track her cycle. "Oh, last week but it hasn't come yet." the doctor nodded and opened a drawer next to her desk, she took out a box and pulled out a pregnancy test.

"I'd suggest this first as it matches your symptoms. Here, take two different brands to make sure it's accurate." Y/n nodded, she knew how to take the test since, believe it or not, she had a talk with her mom about pregnancy tests. Jungkook accompanied her to the bathroom, waiting patiently outside. About five minutes passed and Y/n came out, "There are no results yet, we have to wait." he nodded and the two made their way back to the doctor's room to wait for the results.

Discussing a few things in the meantime, they talked about some more symptoms that Y/n could potentially experience if she was ever pregnant and some food that she may be restricted to. Five minutes later, they checked the tests and to no surprise to the doctor, her suspicion was correct. Y/n was indeed pregnant with Jungkook's child, their first child. Jaw-dropping, the two stared at the tests that both showed two lines on each stick.

Shifting their gazes on each other, they started to shed tears of happiness. Sure, they would've liked to spend more time together as two but they did in fact want children or at least a child. Jungkook took his now pregnant wife in his arms and showered her face with kisses, calming down after a few minutes. "Thank you so much, Mrs.Lee." the doctor and the couple bowed at each other before they were allowed to leave. "I can't believe we're going to be parents"
