Chapter 30

Previously: "I can't believe we're going to be parents"

The happy couple made their way back to the car, driving their way back home. "Ahh, I can't believe this!" Jungkook said once they were on the road, "Same, I never thought this day would come." she responded, tears already brimming in her eyes. Coming to a stop at the red light, he took a glance at his wife's features, seeing a tear run down her face, he quickly yet gently wiped it away then turned his attention back onto the road not before taking her left hand in his and keeping his other hand on the wheel. "Please don't cry, love. I know those tears are tears of happiness but I hate seeing you cry."

Hearing the sweet remarks coming from her husband, she put a smile on her face for him. "Thanks, Kook. You always make me feel safe and find a way to make me happy, I really can't thank you enough." he smiled, his attention still on the road ahead of them. "You really don't need to thank me though, Angel. I love you more than anything in this world and I promised you that I'd make you happy. I'm not planning on breaking that anytime soon." She smiled, giving their intertwined hands a quick squeeze.  

After they got out of their car, Y/n started feeling tired and slightly nauseous. Sensing her discomfort just by looking at her, Jungkook picked her up, one hand behind her back and the other behind her knees, carrying her up to their bedroom and laying her down onto the mattress. "Do you need anything, baby girl?" Y/n looked at him with puppy eyes, "Cuddles~" she said with a pout causing Jungkook to explode on the inside. "Let me change first, hmm? And let me get you changed too." Although she just wanted to cuddle already, she didn't exactly feel too comfortable taking a nap with jeans and a crop top on. 

Her husband soon came out of the bathroom in a plain white t-shirt and sweat pants, in his hand laid one of his hoodies and another pair of sweats. "Here you go , love. do you want me to help you-" she shook her head, emitting a small laugh. "I'm good,  kook." Once she changed into the clothes Jungkook brought her, she made herself comfy in bed, Jungkook soon joined her after putting on some calm music to help them take a nap. They cuddled further into one another, "Do you have any names in mind?" Y/n asked out of the blue.

"Mhm, I have two in mind as of right now." he mumbled against her chest, "Spill it.". "Jungmin or Jinsoo, if ever it's a boy. I want you to come up with the names for our baby girls." Y/n smiled, as she fluffed up his hair, making it look all messy but cute at the same time. "Let's nap, you're probably tired." He said, changing the position so her head was now against his firm chest. "Mhmm, love you." she whispered, eyes starting to close due to the overwhelming sleepiness. "Love you too, carrot."
