Chapter 13

I found myself staring into space during class, tired from the video chat the night before. I looked down at my phone, coming out of my daze. Will had texted me, I smiled his text having me refraining from laughing. I put my phone away, deciding that taking notes was more important then responding at the moment.

On my way back to my dorm from my long day of classes, I saw a familiar head of brunet hair and smiled, I made my way over and covered their eyes.

"Guess who?" I said in my best American accent, making my voice deeper, to keep it unrecognizable.

"Hmm, I'm thinking a gorgeous pink haired girl that is really bad at accents." I could practically hear him smile and he turned around giving me a long kiss and pulled me into a hug. I had bleached and dyed my hair pink after two months of being at school because I felt I needed a change. Will slid his hand in mine and we headed down the block to go get hot chocolate on this bitter Autumn day. When we walked into the campus cafe, heads turned, most people staring at my hair. Will ordered for us as I found us a corner table to sit at. When Will came over with our hot chocolate I admired his amazing green eyes.

"Is there pumpkin in it?" I questioned, a pleading smile on my face.

"'Course." he replied like it was ridiculous to ask such a question. I pulled the tethers on my hat, causing it to slide down my head more.

When we finished our hot chocolates, we walked down the street, heading back to my dorm while having small talk. When we got to outside the building, Will stopped us, holding my hand in his, I looked at him, confused as to what was going on.

"Will, my dorm is this way." I said, trying to get him to continue.

"I know that." He smiled and pulled my hand, gesturing that I come with him. I made my way back over to him, looking into my eyes he put his hand in his pocket and my heart started pounding.

"Izzy, where do you see us in the future?" His eyes boring into mine. I started to sweat and I loosened the Ravenclaw scarf around my neck.

"I don't um, I don't know Will. I've just been enjoying my time with you."

"Well do you see us together in the future?"

"Yes." I said it on impulse, my brain had gone and my mouth had no filter, as it was going dry.

"I see us together too, and I want to make a promise to you that I'll stay faithful to you." He pulled a small black velvet box out of his pocket and pulled a ring out. I stood there frozen, in complete shock that he would would stay with me. I plastered a smile on my face, showing excitement that he cared so much as he slid the ring on the fourth finger of my left hand. It had a diamond in the middle and was silver. I hugged him, letting out a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding in. I felt that this was moving so fast, but I knew that Will is going to take care of me.

I got into my dorm after saying goodbye to Will and I went to my bed, trying to remember what being back home was like, I longed for the old days again, where I was back home and school was boring and I didn't have commitment and abandonment issues. I put my headphones in and scrolled down to Ed Sheeran's last album Multiply. I found myself listening to One when tears started streaming down my face, confusion and memories swirling in my mind. I wanted to go back, but I was here now and I'm going to do what is right and stay with Will.

I heard a video call coming from Caitlin's phone and I knew I had to leave the room, I couldn't see her. Caitlin picked up by the time I was on my way to the back of the bus and I heard her conversing with her best friend. I was laying down in my bunk and out of no where I heard squeals coming from Caitlin and Maria. I pulled my pillow over my head and started to feel myself fall into a deep sleep.

I awoke in a start, hearing the boys chattering and I went into the living area. The boys were scattered across the room and once I entered they went into complete silence.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Guys, I know when you're hiding something, tell me what's going on."

"It's Izzy.."

"What about her?"

"It's um. It's her boyfriend."

"She has a boyfriend?"

"Yes. He got her a promise ring." The words echoed in my mind as my knees went out from under me.
