"Earlier today, superheros, including Frozone, The Goo Clinger, Mr Incredible, Lady Sav and Elastigirl caused further damage to the city. The Underminer remains at large-"

The kids were watching the news in a holding area, while their parents were getting yelled at by the police in a separate room. Krypto growled at the two officers who were in the room with the kids guarding the door, wearing those cool-types of sunglasses. They had stern looks on their faces while staring at the kids in silence, which was kinda bothering them while they waited for their parents. The police had wanted to muzzle Krypto, but Kali wouldn't allow it as she put her arms around her dog, holding him close while glaring at the officers. Plus, the police didn't take too kindly to Mikey being a ninja turtle either.

Kali could hear the argument going on in the other room, as her parents and the Incredibles were getting blamed for the city damages. Kali couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't stand it anymore, got up and angrily barged into the room where her parents were, not letting the officers get in her way. The adults were still getting yelled at, when they all turned to see Kali storm in and confront the police.

"Now you listen here, bub! This is certainly NOT our fault, and we saved peoples lives for crying out loud! In fact, it could've BEEN a lot worse if we hadn't been there to help at all!" the rebellious teenager exclaimed out of anger to the officers, while defending her parents and godparents.

"She's right" Bob strongly agreed with the tomboy, glaring at the police. "We didn't start this fight!"

"Nor did we intend to!" Walter firmly added.

"Well you didn't finish it either!" a politician yelled back at the supers.

"Did you stop the Underminer from inflicting more damage?" the officer asked the supers in a scornful tone.

"No..." Walter admitted, sighing with head down in embarrassment.

"Did you stop him from robbing the banks?" the officer asked the supers in the same tone.

"No..." Jane answered this time, in the same manner as her husband.

"Did you catch him?" the officer finally asked.

"No!" Bob glared in response.

"What's your problem?!" Kali retorted at the police. "If your police forces had teamed up with us instead of having us try to stop this ourselves, we would've caught the Underminer already!"

"The banks were insured. We have infrastructure in place to deal with these matters" the politician told the superheros. "If you had all simply done nothing, everything would now be proceeding in an orderly fashion"

"So basically your saying, let innocent people get injured or far worse and we simply do nothing about it?" Kali asked, ridiculing the police with a bit sarcasm. "Not only that more lives would've been in danger, the WHOLE city would've been destroyed by now if we hadn't intervene!"

"You'd have preferred we do nothing?" Bob added. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Without a doubt" the officer replied scornfully, then got up with the politician to leave the room.

Helen sighed. "So, you support us... As long as we win?..."

The officer only shook his head and then left. Kali exhaled in frustration while she glared at the officer and politician as they left and now their family was paying the price for the incident.

"You weren't much help" Walter glared over at the supers' agent Rick Dicker, who mostly sat in the corner for the whole interrogation.

"You want out of the hole? First you gotta put down the shovel" Rick replied.
