The Harpercops Further Adventure with the Incredibles

Chapter 14

It was now made official as the last signature was signed on the accord. 

"It is done" Winston proclaimed. "The world is super again" 

Everyone cheered, from the large crowd in the room to all the people who were watching on their television screens.

"Group photo. Come on. Group photo, everyone. Squeeze in" Winston gathered all the supers and their ambassadors together. "That's it. Historic occasion. Everyone, smile"

But instead of a camera coming out, the wall panels suddenly started flashing those same lights the Screenslaver, or better known as Evelyn now used to hypnotize people. The crowd was all in a blank stare while Mr Incredible, Goo Clinger, Lady Sav, Elastigirl, and Frozone stepped forward, under mind-controlled by the evil Evelyn Deavor. 

"Go on phase two" Evelyn told the hypnotized supers.  

"Years of mandated hiding and silence have made us bitter" Hypnotized Lady Sav announced, looking into the camera. 

"You bring us out into the light only to clean up the messes your lack of discipline creates" Hypnotized Elastigirl declared.

"Your bodies and your character are weak" Hypnotized Goo Clinger protested. 

"Your promises are empty, and you will pay for it" Hypnotized Mr Incredible added. 

"We no longer serve you. We serve only us" Hypnotized Frozone proclaimed. "May the fittest survive" 

Elastigirl then grabbed the camera and knocked it over, making the screen go black. The crowds of people watching on their TVs now seemed worried and confused. 

The five longtime Supers, along with Jacob and Krypto went up to the bridge. They invaded the vessel, knocking the ship's captain and the other workers aside, while one of them radioed the tower. 

"Mayday! Mayday!" 

"Hold!" Evelyn told the hypnotized supers. "Let him talk" 

"Superheroes have forcibly taken the bridge" The man called the tower, shivering as the supers approached him. "Repeat. Supers-" 

"Now" Evelyn ordered the hypnotized supers and Mr Incredible grabbed the man and tossed him aside. 

Krypto then took out a part of the ship's communication system and threw it off the ship, while Elastigirl took the steering wheel and started steering the ship back towards the city. 

"A little further" Evelyn told them. "Little further. Stop"

Goo Clinger then melted his sticky goo substance into the steering system while Mr Incredible smashed it, completely destroying it. 

Just then, Jack-Jack wandered onto the bridge, getting the hypnotized supers attention. Even Evelyn seemed confused. 

"What the... A baby?" 

Just then, the kids came into the room, finally catching up with Jack-Jack and seeing their parents. 

"Mom and Dad!" Dash beamed, but looked to see that they were still being mind-controlled.  "Uncle Lucius?" 

"Jacob? Krypto?" The twins added, seeing their older half brother and the super dog with their parents. 

The hypnotized supers looked to the kids and attacked. Dash grabbed his baby brother while Violet quickly put up a forcefield around the gang to protect themselves. 

"Hi mama" Jack-Jack slipped right out of Dash's arms and floated in the air, right over to Elastigirl. 

"Jack-Jack, NO!" The kids cried out in panic.
