The Harpercops Further Adventure with the Incredibles

Chapter 3

Kali, Krypto, Mikey, and Jacob were in their super suits as they followed the adults at a distance, soon ending up at a high tech building known as "DevTech". 

"Wow" the kids were in awe as they approached the entrance to the building, until they were stopped by some security guards. 

"Whoa! I'm sorry miss, but no one can get in" one guard explained. "The boss is having a conference tonight with some superheros and can not be disturbed" 

"But buddy..." Kali started. "We're Supers too" 

Seeming it was obvious since they were dressed in their suits and masks. 

"Oh, God" Jacob quietly groaned to himself in embarrassment of what his half sister was about to do. "This outta be good"

"Dude, don't you know who these guys are?" Kali then asked the security guard in a serious tone. Sounding like it was obvious, while gesturing over at Mikey and Krypto. "This is Superdog and one of the ninja turtles" 

"We're here to meet the man in charge of this place" Kali explained suavely. Sounding and acting all professional, like she was a VIP. "I'm the daughter of Goo Clinger and Lady Sav" 

"And I'm her brother..." Jacob added, less confidently and a bit embarrassed.  

This made the guards go wide-eyed, immediately standing down with their weapons and moved aside to let the kids pass.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry" The first guard apologized and immediately opened the door for the gang, showing them inside. "Please, right this way"

"Thank you, sir" Kali nodded in approval. "That's more like it" 

The guard then gave them all security badges to wear around their necks. "Here. Your security badges will get you right into the conference room"

"Sweet! Thanks!" Mikey said, looking at his badge and soon twirling it around in a playful manner. 

"Stop it!" Jacob lowered his eyes at the immature teenaged mutant turtle, being annoyed with him. Since the staff here thought they were real heroes, they had to act professional. 

"Wow, look at this place" Krypto was amazed as he walked alongside Kali and the others. 

The kids soon entered an elevator. As they looked out the window while riding up to the top floor, they noticed how the building went higher than any others as they passed through a layer of clouds, which made them even more impressed. 

"Whoa..." Mikey gasped in amazement, while looking out the window. 

The kids were then led into a bigger room and found their parents along with Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone all waiting for someone. The adults quickly spotted the kids come in. 

"Kalina Mildred Harpercop" Jane called out to her daughter by her full name, which always meant that she was in trouble, along with her friends for sneaking out and following them.  

"Mom, I swear, I had nothing to do with this!" Jacob defended himself, being scared of his mother's anger. "That little she-devil took me hostage!" he pointed out, referring to Kali. 

"What are you doing here young lady?" Jane asked her daughter sternly, with her hands on her hips.  

"I should be asking you guys the same question" The rebellious tomboy looked to the adults suspiciously. 

"Touche" Walter told his daughter. 

"She's your daughter alright" Bob and Helen chuckled to their old friend, since Kali took after most of Walter's mischievous and stubborn nature.
