Chapter 5

Adrien's P.O.V

Me and the other fighters came back and found Ladybug at a table with her head down. "What's wrong Ladybug?" Stormy asked. "Luka. He's been killed by Hawkmoth and Volpina" she said. "We must put an end to this. Gamer and Princess Fragrance are making a weapon to put an end to this war" she said. "You must be strong, Ladybug. We will triumph" I said. "But Luka. He was one of my old teammates" Ladybug said. "He will be avenged in the end" I said.

Me and Ladybug left that troop and went back to our base. "Ladybug, is something on your mind?" I asked. "I'm just upset about Luka. He's been here since the founding of this group. And now, he's gone. I couldn't do anything about it" she said. "Sometimes you can't do anything about it. Sometimes it just happens. Someone once told me that there is a time for everything. That includes death" I said. "I know. Death is one of the prices of freedom. If I had to, I would sacrifice myself for the greater good of everyone" she said. She got up and walked to the shower room. I sat there alone in the room thinking about the things I've witnessed first hand today.

Volpina's P.O.V

"He's been taken care of, sir. Do you want me to get the info needed for Project Akuma?" I asked. "I have the information for the girl. I want the information for the boy" he said. "Yes sir. Isn't he new?" I asked. "Yes. I've never seen him before" Gabriel said looking over some footage of that cat boy. "You don't think that this boy is Adrien, right?" I asked. "Don't be ridiculous. He would never do something like this" Gabriel said. "Yes sir. Shall I go aggravate him?" I asked. "Send Antibug on this one" he said. "Yes sir" I said. I went out to where Antibug was sitting. "Ugh, Gabriel wants you to go aggravate that kitty boy for a scan. Do it" I said. "Here, take this" I said handing the object over to her. "Great, now I can finally try that new technique I was working on" she said. She ran out of the room.

Antibug's P.O.V

I ran toward what used to be the old hideout for the Miraculers. It was so drab. I don't exactly know where those pathetic rebels are now, but I'll get them here. I used my Yo-yo as the scanner. I took Volpina's Flute and played it to create a fake image of metal parts and weapons, along with fake guards around it. I ducked down and waited for anyone. I noticed a shadowy figure look from a roof top. It slowly walked forward. It jumped down from the building, using fog to mask  them self from the  guards. I noticed several other shadows appeared behind the original. It seemed like a small group. I jumped out from behind my fake bush. The illusions disappeared. "Ladybug, how nice of you to drop in" I said. "Chloe" she said. "Look who you've got with you. Is he your new boyfriend? You know, since we like... killed your first love?" I said.

Cat Noir's P.O.V

"Ladybug, what is she talking about?" I said to Ladybug. "Oh, she hasn't told you? She loved that boy... oh, what was his name again? Puka (pronounced puke-ah)?" Antibug said. "Don't bring Luka into this. This is just a fight between us" Ladybug said. "But is it really? I thought you wanted Gabriel" Antibug said. "I do. But your on his side" Ladybug said taking out her yo-yo. "Oh, and by the way, what did you do to Adrien, huh? You're probably holding him ransom or something knowing you" Antibug said. "You will never know. I'm not afraid to use this" Ladybug said. Antibug pulled out a huge black sword with red spots.

"Oh, and what is that little yo-yo going to do against this?" Antibug said. Antibug ran toward us with her sword. "Cat Noir, use your staff" Ladybug said. I used my staff to hold her sword back while Ladybug thought of a plan. "Rena, use your flute" Ladybug said. Rena played her flute and created orbs and flung them toward Antibug. Antibug was blinded and backed out. "You may have defeated me this time, but I got what I needed. And you are going to love it!" Antibug said running away. "Hmm.. I don't like the sound of that" I said. "I know. But there's not much we can do to stop her or Gabriel for that matter. All we can do now is keep our guard up" Ladybug said.

Antibug's P.O.V

"So, did you get what I asked of you, Chloe?" He asked. "Yes Gabriel, I have everything you asked for" I said showing him the file. "Good job, take these to the factory downstairs. I'll see to it that these are programmed right away" he said. "Yes sir" I said taking the files and walking away. I passed Volpina on my way. I handed her the flute. "Where have you been?" I asked. "No where, just had to take care of some personal business" she said. "Ok then, master wants these delivered downstairs" I said handing her the files. "I'll see to it that these are taken there. I'll let Gabriel know when they are in the system" she said. "Ok, I have to get some soldiers at take them to the metal fields to guard the metal" I said walking away.

Earlier that day...

Volpina's P.O.V

"Where am I?" He asked. "A secret room that I only know the code to" I said. "Why am I not dead?" He asked. "Because I'm here to offer you something, in return for information" I said. "What could you offer me?" He asked. "Maybe I could let you go and hack the system to think that none of this happened" I said. "What do you want from me?" He asked. "I want information on Ladybug and her new friend, Cat Noir" I said. "Cat Noir?" He asked. "Yes, she's replaced you with him. Doesn't that make you feel angry?" I said holding a black butterfly on my hand. "No" he said sounding irritated. "Why did you spare me?" He asked. "Oh, I just... felt like it. I couldn't just let you go to waste now, can I?" I said. "Forget it, I'll never go with you" he said. "Oh really? How about this" I said pulling him up and kissing him. "No, I won't do it. Your gross" he said afterward. "I'll be right back" I said walking out of the room and grabbing a pink bottle and pouring it into my flute. I came back in the room. "If you won't cooperate, then I have no choice. Bye bye" I said throwing my flute in there and leaving the room.

Luka's P.O.V

I coughed and smelled a sweet rose scent coming from the flute. I inched away from the flute, but the smell was overpowering. I felt unconscious.

Volpina's P.O.V

I opened the door and made the smell retract back into my flute. I looked at Luka. "Luka, how do you feel about me?" I asked. "I...I... love you, Volpina. Your so beautiful and pretty and I love you more than anything" he said. "Oh thank you, now, can you tell me who ladybug is?" I asked. "Yes, my love. Her name is.... Marinette" he said. "Ahh, now, I shall go and find her! Thank you my sweet" I said leaving the room. "Volpina, aye? I like that" I said walking my way toward the factory downstairs when I meet with Chloe.

I took the files from her and transfered them to the system down stairs. Gabriel came down as soon as the transfer was done and uploaded the info into the programmer. The program was inserted into Project Akuma. "It is completed" Gabriel said. He turned on his newest robotic creations, Miss Fortune and Cat Blanc. "I am Gabriel. You have been programmed with the highest available technology in the world. What are you going to do first?" He asked them. "Destroy the Miraculers, Ladybug and Cat Noir" they said. "All is going to plan" he said staring at his beautiful creations.
