Chapter 6

Marinette's P.O.V

Me and Cat Noir were looking in an abandoned house this morning and looking for scraps of stuff. We hadn't found much, just some old wood and metal  fixtures here and there. Suddenly, the house flicked and a flame flared near us. I called to Chat who was a few feet away. I ran out and told him to follow. I saw him come through the smoke and we found a hydrant. I opened it and it sprayed over the fire. Cat Noir coughed.

"Ladybug, are you Ok?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you ok, Cat Noir?" I asked. "I am fine. Thanks for asking" he said. "Let's go find a new house to go through" I said. "No, I'd much rather go back to the base" he said. "Oh really? You really didn't think I'd see through your cover up, Copycat?" I said holding my yo-yo. "Ah, I see you aren't as dumb as you look" he said. "Well, things aren't always as they appear!" I said throwing my yo-yo at him. He grabbed its end piece. "You do not understand, Ladybug. I know your every move and will be ahead of you. My partner, Miss Fortune, is leading Cat Noir astray as we speak. I suggest you give up these pathetic crimes and turn yourselves in" he said.

Cat Noir's P.O.V

"Ugh, you  really think I'd fall for this? I know you aren't the real Ladybug. You're just a robot" I said. "Oh really? I'm capable of many things, kitty. It is a mistake to underestimate me" she said. "I know that. But your artificial. Fake, just a cheap copy of my Ladybug" I said. "True that, but I'm much better looking than her, Cat Noir" she said posing. "If you want to do yourself a favor, quit now. The girl called Ladybug will pay a high price for the deeds and crimes she's committed. If you want to get off free, I suggest you abandon her now" Miss Fortune said. "No, I joined to put an end the the cruelty of Gabriel Agreste. I won't abandon my lady in any way" I said. "Fine, you shall stay by your precious Ladybug, even in death" she said. I held my stick up. "Oh, I'm not here to fight. And even if I was, I'd still beat you. I know your every move and every trick in your book" she said. "Then why have you come?" I asked.

"You see, I'm also on a special mission. I have been asked to verify something of my creator" she said. She came close to me and wrapped me with her yo-yo. "I want to see the one behind the mask!" She said ripping off my mask. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Adrien Agreste. Your father hoped it wasn't you. I hope I won't disappoint him. You shall pay for your crimes and association with Ladybug" she said. "What are you going to do with her?" I asked struggling to break out. "Oh, she'll probably end up killed. I don't know what he'll do with the likes of you, Agreste. What would your brother say?" She said. "Never speak of him! If you ever say a word about my brother, you shall be the lucky one and die by tomorrow" I said. "You don't scare me, Kitty. I've got your every move memorized. I hope you don't mind if I do a little testing" she said holding a needle with green stuff in a tube. I yanked away from her every time she tried to get me. "Sit still, kitten. I've got a treat for you" she said trying to stick me with the needle. "What is that?" I asked. "Just a little test from the Laboratory. It stuns you and make you numb" she said grabbing her yo-yo string. I got my pocket knife out and cut the string. I ran away. "Ugh! I'll get you Agreste! Just you wait" she said from behind me.

Marinette's P.O.V

"Give up, Ladybug. You don't stand a chance against us" Cat Blanc said. "I will not! You will be destroyed" I said. I noticed his eyes turn pink. "Ladybug, I might be programmed to destroy you, but I'm wired like that partner of yours" he said. "What? You love me or something?" I asked holding my yo-yo up. "No, I still hate you, but Volpina had programmed me with a message. She has your sweet Luka locked away. If you do not turn yourself in, he shall become one of us. A creature of destruction" he said. "No! This is what he would want! I don't give in this easy!" I said. "Yo-yo, show your sharp side!" I said. My yo-yo's metal blades popped out. "Your done for, Copycat" I said throwing my yo-yo at him. I chopped him to pieces and ran for the base.

Miss Fortune's P.O.V

I saw my partner in pieces on the floor. "Ugh, cats are nothing but trouble" I said. I turned a switch on his back. He quickly rose off the floor. "Thank you, my ladybug" he said. "They got away, but one day, we shall destroy them once and for all" I said. "They can't last forever, and when our final plan is launched, they shall be powerless" I said. "They shall surrender, my lady. Then it is we who shall be the victor" he said. I laughed with him and we headed back for the tower.
