Chapter 2

Ladybug's P.O.V

I was walking down the street with Cat Noir and looking over the area. I heard a girl screaming. I ran around the corner and saw a man grabbing something from her. His name was Rogercop. "Hey! Put that down or else" I said. "Or what? What are you going to do about it, girly?" He said. My eyes narrowed. "I wouldn't have said that if I were you" I said. I pulled out my yo-yo and ran toward him. I swung it at him and hit him with it several times. I eventually knocked him out. I grabbed the thing he stole and gave it to the girl. "Thank you, miss" she said.

"No problem" I replied. I walked toward a stunned Cat Noir. "We need to get you you're own device like my yo-yo" I said. "But it's illegal to use weapons" he said. "Yeah, this isn't a weapon. Its a play thing that doubles as a weapon" I said. "I'll have Carapace make you something" I said. I walked with him toward a burned building. I walked inside. "Why are you here?" Cat Noir asked. "You want to know why I despise him?" I asked. "Yes" he said.

I pulled up my sleeve. "This used to be my house. I lived here with my parents. They worked for you're father like most people at the time. But, when I was 5, the place was burned while we were inside by men from your father. I never did know why. I was the only one who didn't die. A friend of my mothers came and rescued me. She repaired me and I had to have a robotic arm and a few other odds and ends added to myself. I was raised with Rena. After I found out my parents died, I hated him. So, I put together a group against him. And I believe that there is still hope that he will be taken down" I said. "I... don't know what to say" he said. "What are you going to do when Hawkmoth ends?" He asked. "I don't know" I said. "I guess I'll have to find something for a job" I said.

"Anyways, do you want to meet our other members?" I asked. "Yes" he said. I walked with him into an alley. "What are we doing here?" He asked. I walked up to one of the walls and opened a panel inside the wall. I put my hand on the scanner and the floor lowered. "Whoa, that's cool. Very hidden" he said. "Yes. I will not add you to the scanner until I know, for sure, that I can trust you" I said. We lowered into a chemist's laboratory where I saw Princess Fragrance concocting some scented chemical. "Hello Ladybug, what brings you to our troop?" She asked. "I'd like you to meet our newest member, Cat Noir. Cat Noir, this is Princess Fragrance" I said. "Nice to meet you, Cat Noir" she said.

"Likewise" he said shaking her hand with his metal one. "She is in charge of all of our chemical weapons. Where's the rest of your troop?" I asked. "They are out on a scouting mission" she said. "Alright, we have to get back to headquarters and do something about kitty boy here. Good luck with you're next chemical" I said standing on the panel with Cat Noir as it went up. "Now, to go and deal with you, kitty" I said. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I mean get you better equipped" I said.

"Carapace, what device do we have available for kitty boy over here?" I asked. "Not much. The only thing that I've got right now is this special stick. It can extend to any length. Its strong, durable, and can split in two" he said. "Alright, where is it?" I asked. He handed me the stick. "Purfect" I said. I turned to Cat Noir. "Here's you're device. Use it wisely" I said. "Ok, M'lady" he said. "What did you just call me?" I asked. "M'lady. You know, since you call me kitty boy, I'll call you M'lady" he explained. "No. And by the way, where did those ears come from?" I asked putting my hand on his ears.

"I really don't know. I already have ears and I don't see why I need these. But I like them. I can hear better than before which is nice" he said. "Okay then" I said. "Now, what's our next idea for our Hawkmoth Rebellion?" I asked. "Well, our next target would be taking down his best general, Volpina" Rena said. "Volpina? Don't you mean Lila?" Adrien asked. "Yes, but we use abbreviations for almost everything here. If you need a guide, I can give you one" I said holding a small translucent panel. I handed to him. "I've got a question for you. Where do you get your metal? Ever since the price inflation, its super hard to get metal cheap" he asked. "Well, let's just say that we've had to... execute a few operations... to get what we need. Otherwise, we check though some scrap yards and find some usable stuff there" I said. "Now, about Volpina. I don't have any plans yet, but I've got some ideas. For now, I need to find a status for our new little kitty" I said. I walked with Cat Noir over to the round table. "Now, if you want to be here, you've got to have a status. Now, I make the decision for this along with input from Rena. I have several tests to see where you fit in best. Are you ready?" I asked. "Yes, I'm ready for whatever you throw at me, M'lady" he said smiling.

TimeSkip to after the test...

"Okay. So, I've analysed you based on various skills of a variety of modes. Your fighting style is very good. Along with being skilled at sneaking around, these were you're best scores. However, you do not know how to create a simple gas. You also failed to identify a majority of weapons we have here. You've also failed a few other things, but I won't mention it. So, me and Rena have decided to put you with us. Your fighting skills are amazing..." I said. "Why thank you, M'lady" he said. "...But not as good as mine" I said. He smirked at me. I tapped his nose. "For executing missions, we wear masks to hide our faces. It would be best for you to wear one, because you are the tyrant's son and I wouldn't want you to be captured and such" I said handing him a black mask. "Now, if you don't mind, I've got a meeting with one of our members. Feel free to do as you please" I said walking into my office room and shutting the door.

Adrien's P.O.V

"Wow she's tough" I said. "She hasn't been the same since her parents died. I don't know if she'll tell you this, but she's got a robotic heart. That's also part of the problem. She's cold at times, but she can be cool too" Rena said. "That explains a lot" I said. "But she's super passionate and keeps us united against Hawkmoth" Carapace said. "Good point, Nino" Rena said. "From what I've seen, she's amazing" I said. "Yeah, I've never seen anyone throw a yo-yo like she can" Rena said. "I wish I knew her real name. But she won't even tell me" I said. "Rena knows her real name. I know it too, but I swore not to ever use anyone's real name" Carapace said. "Why?" I asked. "Because this group is secret. We don't want everyone knowing real names, for arresting purposes, and so we use code names" Rena said. "Arresting?" I asked. "There was in incident that happened a few year after the group was founded. This was before code names were used. One of our members was captured and converted to his side. She used our real names and now we use code names for everything. For example, our code name for this arrested person is often Antibug. She is now one of his generals" Rena said. "Yeah, but do any of you guys get arrested?" I asked. "Yes, Reflecta's brother, Luka, got arrested last week" Carapace said. Just then, Ladybug walked in the room.
