I looked out at all the laughing children running around. I smiled as I see Aiden enjoying himself the most. Today's my day off so that I could throw this birthday party for him. I can't believe that my baby boy is already 5 years old. A lot has happened in those 5 years.

I looked around at all the family and friends who came to celebrate with us. A part of me can't help but feel like Harry should be here especially now more than ever. With each year that passed since I gave birth, I felt bad that he couldn't be there. It even pained me a little to think about it after having seen him just a couple days ago.

"Hey, babe?" I asked looking at Marco. He said nothing, but he did look back at me. I waited for a second for him to speak, but instead, I got an annoyed look. No one at our table seemed to notice, well except for Vanessa. She's good on picking up on tension. "Uh... would you be ok with supervising the next party game while I go get the cake ready?"

"Sure, why not," he stated sarcastically, getting up and moving to gather the kids around for a game of musical chairs. I got up to make my way inside.

"Let me help you," I heard Vanessa say I made my way to the back door. As I walk into the kitchen to grab the cake, the sound of children screaming fade. "What's his problem now?" she asked, annoyance evident in her voice.

"I don't know," I shrugged, "He's been like that over nothing." I rolled my eyes as I removed the cake from the fridge and took the plastic cover off.

"Well, he's acting like a child," she huffed.

"He's just mad because I stayed late to work a couple weeks ago," I explained. "I guess he thought I was lying and we got into it, that's all."

She gave me a long, stern look. "He's got serious anger issues and is controlling," she expressed angrily. "Seriously, I don't see why you want to marry someone like that."

I laid my hands on either side of the cake in an effort to calm myself, "Really? You don't see me judging the guys you date. At least I'm getting married!" I saw as her face drop when I said that. I sighed, "I'm sorry, you know I didn't mean that."

"It's okay, I know," she mumbled. We've had this conversation before. In the beginning, she was rooting for us to get together, especially since I never let myself date after the whole Harry situation. When we really got to know Marco though, her thoughts changed. I know he can get a little aggressive, but who doesn't have issues. At least, that's what I have been telling myself more and more as time goes by.

"So, guess who showed up at the studio the other day," I said, trying to change the subject as I began my search for the birthday candles.

"Harry," she says jokingly, laughing at the idea. When I said nothing, she realized she hit the nail on the head. "Wait, seriously!" she yelled in shock.

"Keep your voice down," I scolded, "but yes. His girlfriend is my newest client."

He eyes went wide, "Ooh, that must have been rough. Does Marco know?"

"God no! He's not even talking to me and he'd throw a fit if he knew," I said finally finding the candles for the cake.

"What are you going to do?" she asked. I looked up from the cake at her.

"What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well, clearly you still have feelings for him if you don't want Marco to know. Plus I could see it in your eyes at the mention of his name and his girlfriend," she stressed the word 'girlfriend'.

Before I could say anything, the sound of the back door opening put a halt to our conversation. Marco came into view, which caused me to give Vanessa a stern look. "We'll talk more about this later."

"Talk about what?" Marco asked, coming to my side.

"Just some wedding details. She's helping me plan it," I partially lied giving Vanessa that look that says in all. She nodded in understanding and added to my comment.

"Yeah, I got some ideas that I'll get back to you on," she cleared her throat before going back outside. I picked up the cake and follow her with Marco in tow. As we sang happy birthday and the party came to a close, I thought a lot about what she said.

Do I still have feelings for him?

(A/N)

So what do you think? Does she? Let me know in the comments your thoughts so far (That sounded very YouTuber of me haha). Sorry it's been a minute. I've been trying to get my life together now that I'm home for the summer. I can't promise to be more frequent, but I can promise to try harder.

Side note though, I saw Harry in concert in Indy and I had the time of my life. I was so sad it was over but I'm happy I was able to go in the first place. I took my brother with me because he's been a fan of One Direction alongside me so it was great.
