I stood close to Kaylee as we walked down to the water, the cool breeze brushed against my cheeks and blew through Kaylee's soft, long hair

"So Lou, why did you want me to come down here? I know I suggested it but I didn't think you would actually want to" She chuckled a little at the end to make it not sound to obvious that this was true, but she was right, I normally wouldn't do this

"You'll find out soon Kaylee" I tried to make it sound intriguing

"So I brought you down here Kaylee to spend time with you but what are we going to do here? It's just water and sand." Yep, I pretty much stated the obvious

"I don't know, maybe we can go for a bush walk or build sandcastles" ahh the little kid is finally coming out of Kaylee, I love that about her

"I was hoping you would suggest that!"

"Kayleeeeee, can we just sit down and relax now? We built 10 sandcastles and went for the long walk in like the worldddddd" I so sounded like a little kid right now, but can ya blame me? For the little kid inside of Kaylee, the kid sure is adventurous

Louis and I sat around the fire and had just finished a packet of marshmallows

My palms were sweaty and my hands were shaking, the old me would've backed out by now but I need to do this, it's holding me back on so many things

I memorised what I was going to say to him in my brain, it won't take long, just blurt it out and wait for the reaction, and no crying from nerves please brain?

Louis whipped his hand behind his back and pulled out his beloved guitar

Hmmm I never even saw him pick that up "whatcha doing with that Lou?" Well he's obviously going to play it unless he might wanna smash it for no apparent reason

"Louis... Your voice.. That was... Amazing" I didn't know what to say, I was speechless

"Kaylee..." Is it just me or was it getting very intense and hot out here in the cold?

"Louis.. Why did you do this for me, i thought you gave up singing?" Which saddened me, I knew he wanted to do this ever since he was young

"Kaylee, I'm just going to get straight to it, I planned this evening for a special reason, I was memorising a speech or something but I realised it's better for it to just come straight from the heart, because I know that's what you like best, I've realised over the past month, that.. I love you, more than just a friend, I know you might be a bit freaked out, but I realised these feelings and I couldn't keep them bottled up any longer. We've had this chance for a long time and I dot want I waste any more time, I want to be with you, no matter what the circumstances are. What do you say, Kaylee?"

My heart just skipped too many beats, I was still speechless, I can't believe he has feelings for me as well, I thought that it was just my little fantasy.. I love him so much more now, of course I wanted to be with him.. I wish he could have told me earlier, but I can't talk because I was too scared as well

"Louis, this is a coincidence, because.. Well, I've discovered feelings as well, strong ones..
