• Chapter Five •

Jaces pov

We headed over to Magnus and he made the portal and of we went.

Clarys pov

So hear I am freaking out because I'm chained to a chair and I can't move. The dark sisters are at the counter doing something but I can't see, then suddenly there is a loud crash and the dark sisters rush over to the door. I panic and ask them, "What was that"? They go over to the counter and pack up the turn the lights out and start to head out the door. "Where are you going? You can't leave me here" "be quite and don't move". And then they closed the door and just left me chained and alone.

Jaces pov

We come through the portal and are in front of a large building. Alec heads over to the back of the building and me and izzy look at each other, then izzy asks, "Alec where are you going"? He turns to look at us "I'm going in through the back door so we don't get seen". Then he continues walking and me and izzy follow him. Once we are inside we see what i think was a vampire but also looked part demon which I don't understand how this is possible, then it starts running towards us with it's fangs and claws out izzy cracks out her whip before me and Alec could move and slices it in half. It just falls to the ground then vanishes, yep defiantly part demon. Izzy turns her whip back into a bracelet and turns to us, "what the hell was that"? me and Alec both shrug. "guys I think we should get going before anybody comes, but at least we know we are in the right place", Alec had a satisfied smile on his face then turned around and started walking down the hallway. "Alec maybe we should go to the top floor first and work our way down". izzy was right it was a smart idea, "ok well we better take the stairs up". and with that we headed of and up the stairs to the highest level which was level 5. "do you think we should split up so we can search quicker"? we stopped walking. "yeah ok izzy you go with Alec and check level 4 and 5 and I'll check 2 and 3". They both continued up and opened the door to the top floor and I went down the stairs until I reached level 3, when I got there I opened the door and walked into the hallway.
