My shout
echoes
bouncing off the cave walls
startling everyone outside.

Cool salty waves lapping at my feet
a tranquil zephyr whispers in my ear,
asking if I recognize this feeling.
Closing my eyes, I let myself
sail across the vast blue ocean
reflecting the majesty of the sun
and dive to depths I'll never understand.
The warm golden sand falls
onto my tanned lap
as I discover fringed coral shells
and the beauty all around.
