Facade of the Sea

Sometimes

when I gaze

across the surface

of glass

peppered with

shades of blue and green

I wonder

how is it so different

than it usually seems.

The tranquil feeling

of peace and calm

slicing through the

Facade of the Sea

The rivers once roared

the rain once poured

the oceans once ripped

the droplets once dripped

Everything I once

Knew

blown apart to bits

How there are

the many faces

of the water

I had once

Knew.
