"Now Ginny," Mum cautioned, "you'd better not put yourself in any danger, you hear me? I want you alive and well at Christmas." I sighed and nodded. This was going to be a long year.
"Mum, I'll be fine! Don't worry about me. It's just Hogwarts!" I knew that, even as I said it, this was not "just Hogwarts." This year would be much, much more.
"Oh, alright. Write to me! Have fun, Ginny!"
As I turned to get on the train, I could see the worry in her face. I felt the same way. Though I had been to Hogwarts five times before, I was worried. More than worried. Maybe even scared.
After quite some searching, I found the compartment that hosted my two good friends, Neville and Luna. As the Hogwarts Express made its way to the supposed safest place on Earth, we made small talk. No-one knew what was ahead for the coming year. This, perhaps, scared me most. Finally, after what seemed like days of anticipation, we arrived at school.
