In class I tapped my foot anxiously waiting for the bell to ring. I really wanted to call Diego, I wanted to know who this girl was. I know me and Diego aren't a thing or whatever, but jealousy gets the best of me.
As soon as the bell rings, I run out of class. Dialing his number, I fumble around and my heart races.
"Hello?" A voice answers.
"Diego? It's me Y/N, just wanted to ask about last night you know?" I say nervously.
"Oh Diego's not here at the moment." I hear the voice chuckle. I start to get annoyed.
"Ok look, put Diego on the phone or else I will personally hunt you down and cut-"
"Hello?" A reassuring voice said.
"Oh, hi." I said blushing, even though I knew he couldn't see me.
"So I got some news!" He says excitedly.
"And what is that?!" I reply back.
"I auditioned for this show, On My Block, and I got one of the main characters!"
"That's so crazy! Oh my goodness, congratulations, babe!" I accidentally blab out, instantly regretting it.
"Awe thanks! You know I was so excited to tell you, I wanted you to be the first one to know." He casually says back. "But listen, I gotta go! My friend Sierra and I are going out for lunch. But I'll call you back?"
"Yeah sure. But that's actually what I wanted to talk about, Diego. Who is-" I was cut off.
"Ok got to go, love you!"
And with that he hung up. "Love you?" Did he really say that?
Diego's POV:
Do I just say I love you? Oh my god, I actually did! I can't believe this. I wonder if she heard it? Part of me wanted her to and the other half didn't.
Sierra jumped out of nowhere. "Ready to go eat?"
"Yeah, but first I have to tell you about this girl."
"Oh yeah? Me too." She says strolling along next to me.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, I guess I never told you." She says.
"Told me what?"
"I'm bisexual. There's this girl I met yesterday and this bowling alley. Her names Alexia."
"Oh wow. I didn't know that." I tell her, obviously confused.
"So what about this girl?" She ask curiously.
"Oh, let me tell you." I say getting all flustered.
