It was 3 o'clock in the morning when I heard my phone go off. Sleepily, I rolled over and reached for my phone. I had 3 missed calls from Jamal? Why would he call? I opened my phone, going to my calls. He immediately answered.
"Hello?" I slurred, still out of it.
"Y/n! I have been trying to get a hold of you all night!" He yells into the phone.
"Calm down!" I whisper loudly.
"Have you checked Instagram? Or Snapchat? Or on your boyfriend, recently?" He asks anxiously.
"Nooooo." I say slowly, "why?" I say, immediately going to Instagram. I hang up almost instantly. Searching through my feed. I then get a call from Ruby.
"Is it true?" He asks into the phone.
"I don't know what you talking about?" I reply.
"You know what, it's fine! I should've never believed you when you said you loved me. Now here you are, cheating on me?!"
"I'm not cheating on you!" I cry, my voice breaking. "I don't know where you heard that but it's not true!"
"Don't bother talking to me tomorrow, we're over." He says angrily.
"No! Please! I didn't do anything, Ruby!"
"It done! We're done!"
With that he hangs up. I lay in bed, not capable to sleep. Flashbacks of me and him repay in the back of head. I don't understand who spread these rumors, or why he'd believe them. It was a restless night.

"Don't talk to me, y/n!" He says first thing in morning as I run up to him.
"It's not true! You know me! I'd never do that!" I say putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Stop! Just, go away!" He says pushing off, making a scene. Everyone stops and stares at us. I turn away and start to walk out the door, but something stops me. A hand in my arm. Turning around, it was Jamal.
"Who's telling people this!?" I yell at him angrily.
"I don't know?" He says, it more sounding like a question. He knows.
"Jamal! You better tell me! I know you know who it is!" I shout pushing him back against the wall.
"It was me!" He surrenders, his hands up in defense.
"What do you mean, 'it was you'! You're telling people we hooked up when you know I have a boyfriend! A boyfriend I love very much, by the way. You're just trying to get in the way of our relationship because you can't find one!" I say pushing my finger up to his chest.
"I know, I know! I've liked you for sometime now, I though that by hearing these rumors, you might actually give me a shot." He says looking down. I can't believe him. I run out of the back into the school, to room 132A, Ruby's 2nd class period. By the time I get there, he's almost walking out the door.
"Where are you going?" We ask at the same time.
"To find you." He says walking closer to me.
"Why?"
"Because Jamal told me the what he did, and God knows Jamal can't lie for his life, so he must be telling the truth."
I can just nod, my eyes still red and checks still wet.
"I'm sorry for not believing you. I never should've doubted you, y/n."
I walk up to him, both of us coming into a tight hug.
"I forgive you." I say giving him a small smile, followed by a kiss on the lips, which lasted quite awhile.
"Come on. Why don't we go over to my house, no ones home. Except for my grandma, but she likes you," He says, him arm around my shoulder.
"I love you." I say holding his hand.
"I love you too." He replies along with a tight grip around my hands.
