I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and I immediately groaned. I was never a morning person and this was a terrible way to wake up. I went to pull the covers over my head when instead I grabbed my nightstand, causing me to pull myself off of my bed and land on the floor with a loud thud. "Ow." I was trying to grab the sheets on my bed in attempts to stand up, but was failing. My legs were completely asleep and all I kept doing was slide back down to the floor with a thud each time I tried. Within a minute of me falling to the floor, my door burst open only to see Charlie come through. His eyes were laced with worry but as his gaze met mine, they turned into relief.

"What are you doing?" He stood at the door with a smirk causing me to roll my eyes. "That's ok Charlie, I can help myself up from the ground. Thanks for trying to help." He still stood there with the same cocky expression and said nothing. I scrunched up my nose in frustration and glared at him, causing him to laugh. "Morning to you too." I narrowed my eyes at him and went back to trying to lift my body up from the floor. As I continued to fail, Charlie only laughed more. I decided to take defeat and let my legs win.

I looked back to Charlie who was walking towards me. "Having a rough time?" If I was able to get my legs to work, I would have picked up a pillow on my bed and threw it at him to wipe that smirk off his face. I had to admit though, it was hot. I didn't think a facial expression could effect a person that much until right now. It made me nervous and I began to feel extremely vulnerable.

Every inch he stepped closer to me, the more vulnerable I felt. I didn't know what to do. I was looking at him like a lost puppy. He could definitely sense my nervousness as his smirk only grew wider.

When he got to where I was sitting on the ground, he held his hand out for me. I took it, letting him pull me up to my feet only to stumble and fall straight into him. My hand was against his chest and I froze as he put his hands on my waist to stop me from completely falling over as my legs were still asleep. Of all the days my legs just had to fall asleep, it had to be today. I mentally cursed myself for being so clumsy and helpless.

I looked up to meet his gaze that was already on me, my face turning the perfect shade of red that you could use to describe a tomato.

Charlie looked at me knowingly and began to distract me from the situation we were in. He could tell I was nervous. "I made breakfast!" The smirk he previously had was gone and was replaced by the smile that made my heart soar.

As we began to walk out of the room and down the stairs, I thought about what I had in the kitchen. Nothing. Mom was never home so there was never any food in the house. And when there was, she always took it because she said it was nice to bring food to a guest's house meaning Andrew, even though she has been dating him for seven years. The most we had was bananas and cereal.

I quickly turned to him as we made our way into the kitchen. "How did you make breakfast? I have nothing in the house." He threw his head back laughing. "If you had nothing in the house, then how come I made such a great breakfast?" I didn't have time to answer as I was pulled into the kitchen. I sat down to see a cup of my favorite coffee next to a bowl of HoneyNut Cheerios with milk and in that bowl of cereal was a smiley face made from little pieces of banana.

I looked to Charlie, who had sat down next to me. He was smiling like how a little kid would when they got something they wanted and I couldn't help but smile too. It was infectious.

I was just about done eating my cereal when I caught Charlie staring at me. I suddenly looked in his direction, catching him off guard and his eyes went wide. His cheeks became a scarlet red and his mouth was slightly ajar. He was frozen in his spot and didn't know what to do so he began to shove the last bits of cereal into his mouth. As I got up to put my bowl in the sink, I shook my head and laughed.

When I finished washing my bowl, Charlie got up and headed towards me. I knew he was still embarrassed but I had to change that. It was weird when we were embarrassed around each other. We couldn't talk and one of us would freeze up.

After putting his bowl in the sink, he began to wash it. I had still been standing there next to him but he didn't say anything, so I did.

I stood on my toes and pecked his cheek lightly. I started to walk away so I could go get dressed for the day but not before talking to him. "Thanks for the breakfast. You're adorable." His gaze didn't leave the bowl he was washing, but as I walked towards the hallway that lead me upstairs, I turned around to see a smile on his face.

I had just finished getting dressed when Charlie walked into my room. He was still shirtless as that is how he came here last night. "So are you just gonna walk around my house all weekend with no shirt or...?" Last night before we ended up falling asleep, Charlie promised to stay with me the whole weekend. It wasn't like I had any problem at all with him being shirtless, it was just nice to tease him a bit. "Oh, you're telling me you don't like all this?" He gestured to his abs and it took all my willpower not to look at them. I had to keep my eyes focused on his. I was not about to be caught checking him out again. I gave him a look and he laughed, shaking his head. "Ouch, that hurts a little. Your definitely the first to not enjoy that." He was playing me. He wanted to me to say "no I didn't mean it like that." and then he would press further asking why I really wanted him to put a shirt on which would just lead to him smirking and I did not want to have another situation like this morning. I pretended to ignore his comment and instead changed the subject. "So, what are we doing today?"
