Turns out that Connor didn't even sleep in my home that night. He informed me that I was so drained I feel asleep in his arms and he put me to bed.
The ludicrous thing that I can't seem to dissolve my brain into is how semi comfortable I am with him.
A man I've known not even more than a couple weeks.
I had to admit, I was scared some moments. I didn't know what he was capable of.
For a man as large, intelligent and handsome as him all female kind would just be a little hesitant towards him.
You didn't know what he'd do next. But the man swore on his life he'd never hurt a fly.
That was highly hard to believe.
Here I was in my work spot. The smell of dried paint and the sound of nothing but my thoughts.
My terrible terrible thoughts. They went from disordered to erotic in seconds.
Connor hasn't done anything to steer me wrong but he hasn't done anything to steer me completely right.
Completely?
He's been generous and warmhearted.
It's still not a reason to get off your toes Cody.
I haven't seen him since that day-that morning.
I nearly gave myself to the man like a female lion in heat. I must of've been sick.
I've been antsy these past days. Mind and body. My head has been in deep dirty thoughts, like I said terrible. Involving Connor. In each and every one of them. My breast were weirdly and overly sore along with my nipples. It hurt to put on a bra.
I was freaked out.
I haven't seen him for three days and I was acting like a needful female.
Something was up with me. He must of drugged my tea.
That brings me to the conversation we had before he left.
Connor handed a warm tea cup and he sat across me. He placed his delectable arms on the glass table and watched me.
"Why do you enjoy tea so much?"
"Grams made it for me every morning and night. It's just something I have to have in the duration of my day."
He nodded his head, understanding.
After that he just stared.
I couldn't even move with the way his hazel eyes bore upon me.
The cut circled lemon floated in the hot orange fluid. The glass table revealed how close his knee was near mine.
"Cordelia."
"Mmh."
He gave me a closed mouth smile and didn't say a thing. We were back with the awkward staring.
"You have beautiful eyes." I blinked surprised at his compliment.
"Th-thank you."
Stop stuttering!
"Get use to it."
"To what?" I brought the cup to my mouth and awaited for his answer to my question.
"The compliments."
"I-"
"Just say okay Cordelia." He chuckled out.
"Okay." A small smile I couldn't help sneaked on my lips.
"Would you mind coming to a klatsch on Friday?"
