When Lust came to, Truth was nowhere to be found. She tried to remember how she got back in the barracks, but nothing came back up. So she started to wait around for the other sins to get back from their missions.
Envy was back first. She saw just how much Lust looked out of place. She noticed they way that Lust was acting, and told the others about it once they arrived.
Once all of the others got back, Wrath made Envy stay behind with Lust, while the rest searched for Truth. Wrath left towards Stregone, to see if she was just home sick. While the other three scattered around the capital, and surrounding cities.
Meanwhile Truth was just outside the door to the King's throne room. She took a deep breath, and opened the door. She looked straight towards the throne, but no one was sitting in it.
The room was so empty that it looked like it was properly abandoned. She shut the door, and slowly and quietly made her way over to the throne. She stood right in front of it, and spat on the head of it.
She turned around to see the door slowly opening. Truth could hear who was behind the door. It was the King, but he was being distracted.
Truth quickly used a novice invisibility spell, and hid behind the throne for good measure. When the king finally made it through the door all the way, Truth could finally understand what him and his personal knight were talking about. That conversation was something she wish she had never heard.
"So what are we going to do about them sir?" The knight asked. The King sat down in his throne, then started talking. "I would like to get rid of them, they don't deserve to be functioning any more. More and more everyday those bastards stray from the path I lay in front of them. They're all becoming like Pride, nothing but a pain in my ass."
"Is there anyone you wish to spare, or any specific way that you wish it to be done, your majesty?" The knight asked, after taking a knee. The King answered "as for someone to spare, Truth is young and impressionable, you can spare her if you'd like, but if she becomes like them, you will be killed instead. For the way I want it to be done, make their deaths look like accidents, or dress up like Lyconhighd soldiers."
The knight placed his hand over his heart, and stood back up. "It shall be done, for the honor of you and your father, we shall kill the sins, and the commandments." The knight left the King on his throne, and slammed the door shut.
The King stood up and walked behind his throne. Then as if he could see her as clear as day he started starring at where she was. Truth covered her mouth, and slowly crouched down.
His eyes followed her as she did it. "Whoever you are, you have such tremendous energy. So much that it's leaking out of you. Magic power is coursing through every part of you. If you reveal yourself I'll let you live." The King said.
Truth thought to herself "His ability must be able to let him see magic essence." She stood up then immediately booked it for a window and jumped through. She landed in a conveniently placed wagon filled with hay.
Truth decided to use an advanced mimicking spell and walked out of the wagon with the look and armor of a royal guard soldier. She ran for an alley way, then changed into Lust and exited the same way she came in. Truth then made her way back to the barracks, and finally changed back to herself.
