On the outside of Truth's mind, the King sat watching her for almost an hour. They were in his quarters where Truth had been laying on his bed, with her arms tied to the headrest. The King became bored of watching a lifeless looking body.
He got up from his chair and walked to the door. For a second, he thought he had heard something coming from Truth's direction. He turned to see if she had started moving.
But instead of seeing her move, he saw a mouse. It scurried from under the bed, and climbed up on the top of it. It moved rapidly around and over the entire bed.
The King started walking back towards the bed. The mouse climbed up onto Truth. It sniffed around on her abdomen.
The King slowly got closer to the bed, as if her were trying not to spook the mouse. The King sat down on the side of the bed, and watched it. The mouse made its way to Truth's navel.
The mouse circled around it, and eventually laid down covering it. It stared at the King, who was staring right back. The mouse slowly closed its eyes and fell asleep.
The King reached towards it slowly. He pet it softly as if to comfort a family pet. Then he picked it up and kept it in his hand.
He slowly squeezed the sides of its head with his thumb and pointer finger. The mouse started squeaking and squirming, knowing what was just about to happen. It lost consciousness from the agony it was being put through.
After another few seconds of keeping it that way, the King let go of its head. Then he took his other hand and grabbed it in the same place. There was little less then a popping sound, when he twisted his hand and snapped its neck.
He placed it back in the position it was sleeping back on Truth's navel. He walked back to the door. Before he left he had one more thing to say. "The only rats that deserve even my lowest of slaves are dead ones."
When he left the room, he didn't see what happen to the mouse he had killed. It had gotten up, and shook as if to get water off of itself. Then it crawled its way to the rope that was tied to Truth.
The mouse nibbled almost half way through the rope, before it looked as if it were growing. It had nearly tripled in size, by the time it had gotten all the way through. That's when Truth started to regain feeling again.
Her vision was blurry instead of completely black. She could hear the mouse sniff around. By the time she could move her arms, the mouse was bigger than a dog, and had gotten off the bed.
She could still barely see and couldn't move her legs when she had gotten off the bed herself. She could see the dark figure that was the mouse, and grabbed onto it. She climbed on top of its back and started letting it take her with it.
Truth could feel that whatever power her uncle was giving her was too much to keep in and it was leaking out through her pours into the mouse. She tried her hardest to keep it in so that it wouldn't keep making the mouse grow. So she tried casting the same healing spell on herself to keep it in check.
The mouse made it to the door and had no hard time pushing it open. It started walking in zig-zag patterns, trying to adjust to its new size. Truth was able to start moving her legs, but not by much.
By the end of the hall way, she could start seeing the mouse clearly, but she could only see blurs of what was passed five feet in front of her. Truth grabbed onto the mouse's fur to stop it. She could hear people talking below them.
She could hear Wrath, Lust, and the King. Wrath and Lust were trying to antagonize him. All until the King had told them about the condition he had left Truth in. About how she would forget them, and some things she knew he couldn't have done.
