When she finally opened her eyes, Truth couldn't see anything. It was as if something was in front of her eyes and keeping her from seeing anything. She couldn't feel anything passed her knees.
When she tried to move, she realized that she could barely wiggle. Her arms were suspended above her head. The the noise of a door opening grabbed her attention.
With the noise came a breeze which revealed that her sleeves, midriff, and most of her leggings had been ripped away. She tried to speak to whoever opened the door, but even though nothing was in her mouth blocking her from talking, she could barely make anymore than moaning sounds. The person that had opened the door made their way to where she was.
They walked straight towards her. Then they started talking. "It looks like your awake. Oh, but it's too bad you can barely hear me. You probably can't see either, but you're squirming around."
Truth couldn't tell who was talking. Their voice sounded familiar, but it was monotoned. Then the voice continued.
"You probably won't remember anything after you take enough of these. You probably even forgot about the first time you woke up here already. But, that doesn't matter right now. What does is that you keep that mouth open."
The figure put in some type of pill in her mouth before she could try to close it. She couldn't even spit it out. I started dissolving on her tongue, and slowly the feeling she once had started to grasp a hold of started failing her.
The more the figure talked, the less she could hear. The more she tried to move, the more she couldn't feel anything. The more she tried to scream for help, the more she became silent.
It had gone even more dark than before, and parts of what just happened started being jumbled up. The last thing she knew that she felt was two more pills being placed on her tongue. Then she heard another voice, this one clearly and she knew who it was.
From the darkness came Pride's figure. "You just gonna let the King do this to you. Your a sin, not a helpless little girl. What, do you think you can't beat him. I've been wideling him down for years. If you can't beat him now, then you don't deserve to be Truth."
Truth couldn't talk or even think for herself, her brain was going numb. But Pride kept talking. "Let me tell you something. Your sin reflects who you are. You don't like to lie, and you're no good at it anyway. But, the sin of truth isn't just that."
"Truth is a sin for those who get shamed for spreading facts. Truth is a sin for those who can't handle the truth. Truth is more of a sin than I could bare, and yet, you bare it just fine on your own."
"Speaking of truth, there's some that I've been keeping from you. Back when you first saw me, I was already dead. I was using the former King's ability to speak with the dead, but I reversed it's effects using the 7th commandment's ability. From there I'm able to come back in physical form to anyone I want to see me."
"I know, it's a lot to take in. But, if I can cheat death, you can do anything. Don't forget that you're my niece. But I guess I owe you a few birthday presents and a few more explanations, but I can give you something much better. Here in hell, there's a whole bunch of magic stolen and sealed away. I take it all and give it to you. With the devil dead the strongest rules this place, and I guess I can take another punch in the face by your father."
"Just, one more thing I gotta tell you before I get stuck in hell and can't see you for a while. I'm gonna tell you your real name. It's מלאך, I know it's a bit ironic, but hey it was my sister's idea."
