Okay, this tutorial is obviously inspired by Paper Magazine. Super simple, Super easy, and Super cute. I'm going to show you guys three different versions because they are so easy, might as well, so here's the first one.
What You'll Need. (It's the same for each cover)
- Superimpose.
- Phonto.
- Afterlight.
- Photo of your choice.
- Provided Template.Let's Begin.
Here's the photo that inspired this tutorial.
Step One.
Go on to Superimpose. Have this template as your background (↓) and your photo of choice as your foreground.Step Two.
Press Transform then the top right button and then Screen. Just place it over the black box and then merge.
Step Three.
Go on to Phonto and click the option Plain Image. Then click the white photo.
Step Four.
Put the text onto the photo. Use the font Helvetica Neue Bold.Step Five.
Go back to Superimpose and have your filled template photo as your background and then the title photo as the foreground. Just extend the photo a bit so it looks a little fatter and more dense. I really hope that makes sense. Then click Tranform, the top right button, and then Screen. This may seem like a bit much, but the font regularly isn't up to par to me. It wasn't cuttin' it.
You can stop here if you want, but if you want the little texts like they have in the covers then repeat steps four to five.
Final Product.
IDK WHY TF I PUT JUSTIN. UGH ITS SUCH AN INSTINCT. I should've put The Weeknd. smh @ myself. Next time, next time.
