Definitely should've made this part when I first started this whole thing. The more new readers I get, the more questions I get of what apps I use. And so, to make it easier for all of us, here are the apps I use:
AFTERLIGHT ($0.99)
This app is basically for editing the pictures' settings like contrast, shadows, saturation. You can also add the dusty effect, light leaks, and instant film effects.
Here is where you can change the settings:
Here is where you can add their filters:
I don't use their filters, but if you want to, you can.
Here is where you can add different effects:
I use this for nearly every cover I've made whether it's the dusty effect or a light leak/instant film — I use a lot if I feel as though the cover is missing something.
Here is where you can have different frames:
The only ones I use (rarely) is from the Instant Film Pack which you have to pay for as well.
SUPERIMPOSE ($1.99 -- I'm pretty sure it was $0.99 or Free when I got it, but that was years ago)This is where most of the actual editing of covers happens. I recommend for you to look through the tutorials so you could see what and how I use this app. There's a lot you can do with it which I cannot condense in this one little part.
PHONTO (FREE)
This app is the best app (in my opinion) for adding fonts to photos. I have a whole separate section where I talk about fonts and go a little bit more in detail which I also recommend for you to check out.PSA:
I USE MY IPHONE. THAT IS ALL. No photoshop. No Adobe whatever. Just my phone. I don't know any dupes. People say PicsArt, but I do not agree.
If any of you guys have any app suggestions/dupes for other people, comment saying what they are! Help each other out!
