The president stood from her seat, closing the gap between them.

She peered to his face,"What have you done to that poor girl, Sebastian?" she repeated, emphasizing on his name.

The butler was clueless upon why she seemed agitated that he in fact, built a contract with the beautiful princess who was desperate back then.

He courageously stared into her eyes in which,

have turned crimson as well.

Sebastian didn't answer, not because he can't, or wasn't willing to.

Because he knew that it was a useless attempt, she already found out.

"I see" she mumbled under her breath, eyes turning to normal color.

She stared into thin air before wandering off aimlessly around the office.

The only audible sound was the noise of students playing soccer outside.

"You know," she broke the silence, stopping on her track.

Sebastian's eyes was fixed on the floor before she resumed,"I will probably not live long"

He finally turned around to meet her eyes, those crimson ones were looking for answer in hers.

She scrunched her face, laughing it off,"Don't do that, my lady" he sternly responded, feeling disturbed.

"Do what?" she responded, approaching closer.

"Pretending as if you have it all together" he looked down to her agonized expression while she let out a dry chuckle.

She snapped her finger, pointing at him,"That's a good one"

Still, she doesn't answer why Sebastian was not able to recognize her as a demon.

"Now, to the serious stuff.... You have plenty of questions, don't you?" the butler responded with a resolute nod.

The atmosphere becoming more and more tight as they were engulfed in a silence. Sebastian had himself ready for whatever revelation she has.

She took a deep breath, preparing herself.

"Okay, so, the reason why you weren't able to detect me was because I had the ability to camouflage, as a complete human" the girl watched him listening intently.

Sebastian gave an acknowledged look,"Perhaps, it is your privilege as a mixed blood?","Exactly".

"I have never told anyone this but..." she hesitated, halfway regretting her decision to expose so much.

Y/N you shouldn't have said it. She scolded herself.

"What is it, milady?" he suspiciously eyed her.

Y/N crossed her arms, leaning to her desk,"I erase memories, selective ones"

It caught him off guard, that one, never knew the president was that powerful.

There is still something missing.

"That ability of mine... Cost me a huge energy and a life span" the girl bitterly said with a sour expression planted all over her face before she snickered, mocking herself.

His eyebrows furrowed urgently,"And how many people have you removed their memories from if I may ask?"

"Plenty, plenty" she muttered, not believing herself either.

I did too much as a sacrifice she pondered.

"Why have you done that, milady?" he asked in an "unimaginable" emphasis.
