By the reason of having the unexpected attack two days ago, Y/N decided to take a leave until she recovers.

Meanwhile at campus...

"Wait you clearly said we have enough budget to cover the extras!" Hellen roared as she slapped the paper against the desk, furious over a miscommunication.

The other council member, Reena, as a treasurer who was busy examining the budget report of this month's expenditure,"We are supposed to, in fact have spare" she calmly responded.

"Then why is it that we have deficit!" again, Hellen stomped her feet on the ground with frustration.

Jack grunted tediously,"Takahide takes care of all the reports and she probably made another revision for this event to have enough budget"

Amber showed up on the door just when there was a huge commotion inside the council office.

"Amber~ You are her best friend, right? Can you please contact her and ask?" they all whined pleadingly.

She sighed,"Sorry but Y/N needs a rest, everyone. She really isn't at her best condition lately" they get discouraged, seem to be feeling melancholy over the president's absence which never happened previously.

Reena pushed up her glasses,"Now that you think about it, Takahide has been taking monthly leave, is she alright? Does she have any sort of illness?"

Jack continued,"Takahide has not been doing as much sports too"

"Is Takahide that busy?" Hellen repeatedly asked.

The corner of Amber's lips fought a smile, her eyebrows slightly raised as she looked away before that mischievous look of her spread.

However she failed to contain her laugh miserably,"You are still calling her by last name when you are in the same class?"

They immediately at a loss for words the moment Amber made them realize they are still hesitating to speak comfortably with their same-aged friend, the president.

"W-Well, you see" Hellen looked away, searching for excuses.

Jack scratched his non-itchy nape,"Yeah... It's just, you know"

Amber giggled,"Just so you know, she is really friendly. It'd be a pity if you graduate before you can become good friends with her. Stop being stiff!" she cheered before running out.

That was close she wiped the nervous sweat running through her temple.

But the council is really a huge mess if she's not around she laughed, recalling the scene.

At the mansion...

"Takahide-sama, here is your dinner today" Aiko, one of the trusted maids in Takahide household placed a tray of meal next to her bed.

"Thank you, Aiko" Y/N thanked her, eyes not leaving the window.

She was just staring into the dark sky. Devastated.

The maid noticed she hasn't touched her food for lunch and breakfast either.

"姫様*(hime-sama) please eat, at least just a little" she advanced closer, finally getting a closer look of the cloudy expression that Y/N had on her face.

Her eyes were so vacant and held no life. Staring into empty space, a pleading soul was screaming through them.

Y/N finally snapped out of her thoughts and realized that Aiko was still standing next to her.
