Gavin invited a group of friends to go to his parents beach house for the first two weeks of summer vaca and he wants to know if you wanna come

Perry:
Idk, let me ask my mom and get back to you but I really want to! That sounds like so much fun😃

Oliver:
It's gonna be super lit, so if you don't come I'm gonna be super sad, it wouldn't be as fun without you

Perry:
Don't worry, I'll bake my mom a cake and sweet talk her into it😉 so where is it?

Oliver:
Somewhere in Miami, about 5 hours from here

Perry:
Ok, sounds good! She just got home from work so I'll text you what she says...im going to ask her after I do my homework

Oliver:
Okay! I really hope she says yes

Perry:

Perry:
She said YES OL
but she needs to know if there will be any girls there with me...she doesn't care if there won't be any, cause she trusts me but she said she would feel better if there was lol

Oliver:
OMG YES IM SO EXCITED
And yeah my friends Andrew and Jason are bringing their girlfriends, and you can invite Greta too, if you want, she's chill

Perry:
Okay, perfect! And I probably will, she loves the beach

Oliver:
I have feeling that this'll be a really lit summer 🔥

Perry:

Oliver:
I'll make sure to bring the weed and vodka along too😉

Perry:
Yes, everything is better with drugs and alcohol! We have some really nice shot glasses packed in a box in our garage, I'll make sure to bring those along as well!

Oliver:

Omg😂 I just thought about how if your mom were to ever read these messages, she would probably never let you see me again lol

Perry:
Nah, she would know we were joking, she's chill
And she drinks a lot anyways, so I don't think she would mind, which is kind of terrible but whatever lol

Oliver:
Really? Is she an alcoholic?

Perry:
I wouldn't consider her an alcoholic, but does get drunk with her friends quite a bit

Oliver:
That's gotta be hard on you, im so sorry

Perry:
Nah, it's okay. I've talked with her about it and she said that she wouldn't ever let alcohol control her life. She just goes to it every once in awhile when she's down about my dad or about her mom who just passed away

Oliver:
I'm glad you talked with her, a lot of teenagers don't have the guts to confront their parents about that kind of stuff. I'm proud of you!
And yeah I totally understand that, I just don't want her falling into that hole, you know? That could really hurt you and her in the long run

And yeah, same. But if she ever took it too far, I'd confront her and find her a therapist but I just think that she's going through a tough time rn and she doesn't know what to do but to drink, which is super sad. But I'm praying for her

Oliver:
That's understandable...I hope she's okay, she seems like an amazing person, just like her daughter😉
