Perry:

Oliver:
What were you crying about at school weeks ago? You never told me when I asked...

Perry:
I got a call from my mom that day, and she told me that my Dads new wife just found out she's pregnant...it just caused all of the emotions from the past to come up to the surface, but I'm fine now!

Oliver:
Wow...that's big news😧 idk if I should be upset or happy tbh

Perry:
I don't even know at this point either, so it's all good...

Oliver:
Are you sure you're okay?
I'm here if you need to talk

Perry:
I'm not okay, but honestly I should be over it by now so I've been trying not to be upset about it.

Oliver:
You can be upset Perry, it's not selfish to be emotional. And it just happened last year, that wasn't that long ago so I don't blame you for still being hurt about it

Perry:
Yeah, I know but it FEELS selfish. My mother was in love with him when he left, and she's way better now...I just feel like I don't have a right to be upset

Oliver:
He was your Dad, and you loved him just as much as your mom loved him, just in a different way. It's hard to lose something that's been in your life for so many years...you can be sad about him leaving. Don't think that you're being selfish Per...do me a favor and cry a little

Perry:
You're right...it's just hard for me to cry

Oliver:

Perry:
I think I've just held it back for so long that I can't seem to get it to come out
That probably sounds stupid...

Oliver:
No, I get it...but I think I know what will do the trick
