Thirty Six-Saturday-Prom

      I sat in my bathroom, in one of the bar stool chairs we brought up while my mom did my hair. All of us girls were in robes, as was Kevin. Mom was doing my hair, while my mom's friends Anne and Joanne came back over. Anne was doing Ethel's, while Joanne was doing Betty's. When I finished, Cheryl took my spot and we all switched.

     I sat on my bathroom counter doing my make up myself. soon, mom had run downstairs and brought us up some pizza she ordered for lunch and we were all gathered around my bathroom sink eating it, including the three grown women.

    We had to leave for our reservations at 6 since Prom started at 8. Also, we all decided nobody wanted a limo, and now everyone was going to the seafood place. When I looked at Ethel, we smiled at each other before I started to do my eyeshadow. When all the girls were done with their hair, Joanne did Cheryl's makeup, my mom did Ethel's, and Anne did Betty's. Alice said she'd be here later for photos, but right now she had to run into work for a little bit

     Once we were finished with our makeup, my mom took a photo of us all reaching for our outfits, which made me laugh before Anne and Joanne left, and my mom left the room. I stripped my robe off and quickly put my dress on before sitting down on putting my heels on. I zipped Betty's dress up for her, while Cheryl did Toni's. Kevin clapped his hands together while looking at us and I laughed. "come on" I said, putting my arm around his.

     After we all decided we were officially ready, we walked downstairs where we heard laughter. I peeked over the banister to see all the boys standing and talking to my mom. Even Fangs and Sweetpea were here already. I watched as my brother smacked Reggie in the chest until he turned around and looked at us. "Wow," he whispered, causing everyone to look up to us.

     I also noticed Alice, FP, Fred, Ethel's mom, Mr.Keller, and Mrs.Mantel were here now. Once we all got off the steps, we stopped and kinda looked around before my mom squealed and came running over, making me laugh. "Doesn't she look like I did my senior year, Alice!?" "Yes, she does actually. You could be sisters" she said as she walked over to Betty, and I smiled. I looked over to Fred and smiled before walking over and hugging him tightly.

     I moved to all of the parents, including Ethel's mom. I felt someone grab my hand and spin me to face them, as I looked up to Reggie "Oh hello" I said with a laugh. "You look so beautiful Caden" I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck "You look handsome Reggie," I said and he smiled. "Ooooooh, corsage's and boutonniere!" I rolled my eyes at Alice's excitement before we pulled away, and Reggie walked over to the kitchen before coming back with a plastic box.

    He opened it and sat it on the ground, handing me the boutonniere but I placed my wrist out as he started to put the corsage on me. I could see our moms to our side, taking a hundred photos as I laughed before I put his boutonniere on him, also getting a hundred photos.

      Soon they were taking photos of all of us. First the boys got a photo together, then the whole group, and then the girls. I decided I didn't want a normal photo so I stood in front of Ethel and wrapped my leg around her waist and dipped my head back, the others quickly noticed and started to do fun possess too, then the boys joined in and before I knew what was happening, Reggie was throwing me over his shoulder as I screamed with laughter.

    Then, mom wanted a photo of Moose and me, then Moose Archie and I, then Moose, Archie, Fred, herself, and I as a big family. I also took a photo with FP, and a separate one with Fred. Reggie's mom said one more good photo, so I decided to have fun with the one more photo. I stood with Reggie, my hand on his chest to show my corsage, but when they started to take them, I grabbed Reggie's face and kissed him. Needless to say, at first he was surprised, but he did kiss back.
