Fourteen-Christmas Eve-Friday

      Life had been the usual, I'd spend most of my time with my boyfriend and friends. Moose and I spent Thanksgiving at our house, eating Pops because I didn't feel like cooking and he didn't mind. Our parents called Alice and told her they'd be in Florida for another two weeks, then have to head to California for four months.

     School had been average, Veronica and Archie are back together. Things with Sweetpea are amazing.

      Somehow, we all let Kevin and Cheryl talk us into doing a Christmas gift exchange party at my house, our group only. Since it was snowy and sloshy, we decided on a potluck type of thing. Right now I danced around as music played through my speakers, but not Christmas because I couldn't stand it.

     I was drinking red wine while standing at the counter, finishing last-minute gift wraps when I heard the door open. I covered it quickly and looked to see my brother coming in, making me uncover it. He sat the bags down at the counter and unbagged it, putting everything away while dancing to the music, making me giggle.

      "Will you put these under the tree?" I asked, pointing to the gifts as I turned around to check on all the food I was cooking. "Yeah, but I'm gonna leave afterward. Save me some food" "Of course" I replied as I stirred the roast beef before I pulled the crescent rolls from the oven that held pepperonis and cheese in them.

     "Love you, I'll see you later tonight," Moose said as he kissed my cheek "Be safe, please!" I replied as he walked off. "I will don't worry" I smiled as I heard the door open and close. I poured myself more wine as I heard the door open "Caden!?" I heard Toni shout "Kitchen!" I replied before watching Toni, Cheryl, Fangs, and Sweetpea walk in. They all held gifts, besides Fangs who was carrying food containers "Gifts living room, food kitchen" I said, making the three with gifts spin around.

      Fangs smiled as he walked over, sitting it down on the counter "Drinks in the fridge, don't think beer is warm, Moose just brought it in before he left" "Where'd he go?" "I'm not too sure," I said with a small sigh. The five of us sat around talking a little bit before the other ones arrived, Veronica didn't show up but I didn't think she would.

    "Alright, everyone gets some food!" I shouted after I made Moose a plate of everything I had made. Everyone soon came flooding in and we sat at the dining room table. I sat between Sweetpea and Betty, across from me was Toni. The table was made for ten seats, but there was nine of us so one of the end chairs had nobody at it.

After two hours of eating and talking, we ended up in the living room. Sweetpea was setting on the loveseat beside Fangs, while I sat on the ground between his legs, just like Betty was doing with Jughead, and Kevin sat on the floor, his arms wrapped around his legs.

     Kevin voted everyone open gifts I got them first since I was hosting. Betty went first, it was a small little notebook that said 'Not Sisters By Heart, But Sisters By Blood' and each page had a different photo with a few words underneath, most photos were just the two of us alone, some involved Jughead or Archie, even Donny. Also, I had gotten her a necklace with a small gold heart on it.

      I had gotten Kevin a coffee cup that said 'HOTTEST GAY GUY EVER' and a new calendar filled with hot guys posing as different things like there's a fireman, and a cop, my favorite was the doctor. I had gotten Jughead some books I heard him talking about, along with a nice motorcycle helmet. I had gotten Archie a new video game controller with his name on the top, along with a shirt that said 'I'm Not Gay But $20 Is $20' he did not approve. So I handed him another gift, it was a small fake award that said 'ARCHIE ANDREWS; WORLDS SMALLEST PENIS' which he giggled at.

      I got Fangs a new pocket knife, which he kept playing with now. I had given Cheryl a blown-up photo of Jason, Cheryl, Donny, and I. I was on Jason's back while laughing, and Donny was holding Cheryl upside down by her legs while she screamed with laughter, and I held her hand as if it would save her if she fell. Along with a few clothing items and a new set of earrings. Toni had gotten a few clothing items and a new pair of combat boots. Sweetpeas was last to be opened and it was a chain with a block that was engraved with my initials and the day we started dating, along with some of the cute couple coupons, and a pack of Reese's with a note taped to it saying 'I CANT REESE-IST YOU.' We moved onto Kevin's next.
