Twelve-Monday

     I walked into the student lounge where all my friends were, and sat down right beside Fangs, propping my legs up on the table. "Oh look stripper boots," Jughead said as he and Sweetpea walked in, he tapped the top of my foot before he sat down and I glared at him "Hey, fuck off Forsythe" "Jughead" "Forsythe" he gave me a harsh glare and I shrugged.

      "Aren't you two a big bunch of sugar" Archie mumbled, and I rolled my eyes. "Shut it, Andrews" "Do you guys remember when Archie and Betty said they'd get married and so did Jughead and Caden? Because, it'd be nice if you two were sweet like that again" "Shut it, Keller" I repeated to Kevin.

     "That would have been perfect, a cute bubbly couple and then the Addams family" I glanced at Veronica "I don't even like you, don't open your mouth unless spoken too like a good bitch" "Caden!" "Do I have time to get some popcorn?" I heard Betty smack Jugheads chest to his remark. "Excuse you? I'm nobody's bitch" "Nah, you are your daddies bitch, just like your mom and just like Archie," I said with a chuckle.

     "Caden, that's enough" "No, Archie, let her get it off her chest. She's probably mad because I got to you first" I let out a loud laugh, "Actually I never had any thoughts of Archie in my mind, but if I wanted him I could have had him by now." "Alright you two, Caden come on," Archie said, standing up and walking over to me "Point proven," I said giving her a wink before Archie drug me out of the room and into the hallway.

      "What the hell was that about?" "I don't like her" "I know you don't, Caden. But you promised me" I shrugged, walking past him and heading back towards the room where he jumped in front of the door. "You're not getting through until you tell me whats wrong, Caden" "I'm gonna have to suggest moving" I replied. "Tell me whats wrong" I kicked my knee up into his groin, where he let out a grunt and bent over, where I shoved him out of my way "Next time move" I replied before grabbing my bag from the couch and walking over to the football boys who were laughing.

           Reggie wrapped me in his arm and pulled me into his chest while he laughed.

       I walked to my truck after school, running my towel through my hair as I seen the serpents standing by the bed talking. I tossed my bags into the bed before walking around to start my truck. "Are you okay, Caden?" I turned around to Sweetpea who was giving me a look, and I just nodded "I'm fine" I mumbled before tossing my purse into the truck.

       As I went to pass by Sweetpea, he grabbed my waist and pulled me back to in front of him, "I think you're lying to me" "I said I'm fine" I said, not looking up to him. "Well you're not, but would a Sweetpea hug work?" I let out a small giggle and nodded, making him wrap his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.

      "Caden! What are we having for dinner?" I heard Reggie shout, pulling away to see him walking with my brother and Archie. "Depends, what do you want to eat?" "What about that baked chicken you make?" "Yeah! You haven't made that in a while, with fried potatoes and shit?" I nodded "Okay, go home and set the chicken out" I replied and they high fived before running to their cars.

     Archie leaned up against the truck beside Jughead but I turned back to Sweetpea who was already looking at me. "I should probably let you go" I smiled at him before moving away a bit and jumping into my truck seat, still facing him as he put one hand on my waist and the other on the back of the seat. "Or we can sit here and talk" "We could" I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck "Or you can come over for dinner," I said, causing him to smile.

      "What time?" "Come over and help me," I said with a frown, as he rolled his eyes playfully. "Fine, I'll meet you over there," he said before kissing my temple and moving away. I heard the passenger door open and turned my head to see Betty climbing in. She shut the door behind her and gave me a smile.

     I shut my door and packed out of the parking spot, driving to the house where I noticed Moose's car not here. "Bye, Betty," I said as she walked through my yard, and she waved. I was unlocking the door when I felt someone grab my waist. I ignored it as I pushed the door open and turned to look up to Sweetpea who gave me a smile.

     I let out a chuckle before he shut the door and I ran into the kitchen where I sat out the chicken in the sink. Sweetpea and I walked up to my room where I took off my shoes and laid in the bed where he laid beside me, looking up at the ceiling. I turned onto my side to look at him before smiling. "Why are you staring," he asked, making me laugh and look away.

     "I didn't say I didn't like it," he said as he pulled me over to him, making me smile before looking at him. "You're so beautiful" he whispered as I rested my chin on his chest to look up at him. I blushed and put my face against his chest "Shut up" I mumbled, feeling his chest rumble with a laugh.

     After a minute, it was quiet again. I could feel him making designs on my hip with his fingertip. I smiled and moved my head to his neck. "Caden" "Yeah?" "Will you be my girlfriend" I tilted my head up to look at him, and he turned his head towards me slowly.

      "Of course I'll be your girlfriend," I said with a smile before kissing his cheek and resting my head back in his neck. "Good," he said with a chuckle before I felt him place a kiss on the top of my head. I closed my eyes while moving my other hand up to his chest, just under his jacket.

     "Stop!" I shouted while smacking Reggie's hand away from the fried potatoes, hearing Sweetpea and Moose laugh at us. "It's almost done! Sweetpea just has to pull the chicken from the oven!" I shouted while shoving him away. "Can I at least get a drink from the fridge!?" "No, you're annoying," I said as I made my way into the kitchen where Sweetpea was setting the chicken down.

     I grabbed most of the pots with food and took them to the dining table where Moose and Reggie sat before Sweetpea brought the chicken out. I ran back into the kitchen and grabbed drinks from the fridge before walking back to see them all making plates, causing me to roll my eyes as I sat the cans of soda down.

     I sat down at my place beside Sweetpea, across from Moose who sat beside Reggie. "When will your parents be home?" Reggie asked, looking between Moose and I. "Called this morning, said the trip got extended for a few more weeks" I rolled my eyes as I shoved potatoes into my mouth. "They can stay there for all I care" I mumbled, but knowing they all heard me.

     There was a knock on the door, so I excused myself and made my way towards the door. When the door opened, it revealed Archie and Jughead, "What?" "Have you made dinner yet?" "Yes, why?" "Cannnnn we join?" I moved out of the way and both boys high fived before walking in. I followed not far behind them where they quickly sat down and started grabbing food.

     As I sat back down, Sweetpea grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles, causing me to smile before kissing his cheek. "How did you guys know Caden cooked" "I always eat dinner over here" "Me too" "You've been lying to me?" I shrugged "Sometimes I don't feel like seeing you" he gave me a glare and I smiled before looking at the two boys "If I make to go plates will you take it to your dads," I asked, and they nodded.

     I hopped up and ran into the kitchen, grabbing to go containers and walking back out towards them. "I'm so happy I make a lot of extras" "Can we have roast this weekend?" I rolled my eyes at Archie before starting to put food into both containers before setting them to the side. I sat back down and started eating my own food.
