I turn to see Levi, circles under his eyes and his hair all unbrushed. For what seems like forever the three of us just stand the motionless, not knowing what to do or say. Like always Levi opens his mouth first.
“This is why you broke up with me, to go out with this loser. Why, just to prove a point or something?”
“That has nothing to do with this Levi, and you know it. You cheated on me, and that was the last straw. We haven’t been working out for months, don’t deny it.”
Thankfully he keeps his mouth shut, but he walk up to Emmett. Only inches away from his face he whispers, “I swear, if you ever piss me off again I will kick your ass in front of the whole entire school, even in front of her.” He points towards me.
“You don’t deserve her, she’s too beautiful, smart, and funny for you.” Emmett says without even flinching when Levi punches the locker next to him and turns toward me.
“I hope you too are very happy together.” He says as he rolls his eyes and walks off right before the bell rings.
Emmett and I stay silent for the rest of the school day until we get in the car.
“Do you actually like me?”
“What?”
“Do you like me, or was I the rebound?”
I already know what to say, but I need to take a minute to make sure that what I say won’t come out wrong.
“Of course I like you, you were not the rebound. I have liked you ever since I ran into you in that restroom. It was an awkward moment,yes, but, that night was the most fun I have had talking to someone. And all the days after that when we talked all I could think about, was how perfect you are. Ever since we met you have been there for me, and I will always be there for you, because I love you Emmett. I know you probably don’t feel the same way, but I Just wanted to let you…” Before I can finish my sentence Emmett crashes his lips onto mine.
“I love you” He says softly.
He kisses me again and I can here voices outside of the car. We are still in the school parking lot I realize. I stick up my middle finger because I don't care what any of them think, all I care about is him.
(Sorry, I know this one is shorter than the others, but I was writing this last minute. Next Tuesday I will be out of town, so I might post it on Wednesday or Monday. Also here are the people who look like the people in my book, just in case you were wondering what they look like, and there ages, even though some of them havent been in the book that much yet.)
