"No, Lily!" Steve yelled. Lillian Grace was now two, and was proud of it. She turned back to look at her dad, with a look showing she was guilty. Her green eyes got wide and her jaw dropped slightly. Steve picked her up and stroked her pigtails. "You know better than to touch the TV." She sighed and laid her head on her dad's shoulder.

"Me wanna show!" She whined.

"Then you have to ask me first." Steve told her. He set Lily down on the couch and turned on 'Mickey Mouse'. Lily smiled.

"Tank you!" She hugged her dad before he got up to make her lunch. He smiled. Steve didn't think he could've asked for a better daughter than Lillian. She was naughty, but all two year olds are, so for the most part, Lillian was very well behaved.

Steve grabbed the peanut butter and bread out of the cabinet and started to make Lily's sandwich. Lillian bounced around the couch as she watched the characters dance around the screen. Steve shook his head and sighed. He had been mostly on his own with raising Lillian for the last few months. Kate had officially moved away when Lillian was six months old, Clint was busy with his own family, and the others were working. He didn't mind this however, since he enjoyed his time with Lillian.

"Daddy! Pwuto barking!" Lily cheered from where she was sitting over by the tv.

"That's great." He smiled as she clapped. Their joy was interupted by a knock at the door. Steve frowned and went to open it. Sam stood in the doorway.

"You're needed." He stated.

"What's the mission?" Steve asked as he gestured Sam to come in.

"Not sure." Sam sighed as they sat on the sofa. "Tony just said to come into HQ as soon as possible."

"What am I gonna do with Lillian?" Steve inquired. Lily looked to her dad when she heard her name.

"Send her with your usual sitter or something." Sam shrugged. "I have no idea, but Stark said it was urgent."
