introduction

Welcome!! I'm so glad you've decided to try this book out!! Anyway, before I bore you with this, let's just get to the intro :)

Types of Chapters:

no special marking: general chapters that follow the storyline and are mainly just the daily lives of the group

(idol name)|(title): one-shots, independent of the storyline, Nana with one specific idol (may or may not be in BTS)

~(title)~: texts, mostly groupchats, but there may be individual conversations

<(title)>: AU's where everyone is in a different setting (high school, college, jobs, history, etc.)

˚(title)˚: requests (which are still open by the way!!!)

For the sake of the story (and my sanity), just assume that everyone's speaking Korean unless marked otherwise. Also, I don't live in Korea, so I don't really know how it is over there, like, I don't know the standard housing, or the way people live, so forgive me if I make it too American-like :)

STAGE NAME: NANA (formerly: JACK)

BIRTHDAY: September 2, 1997 (Int'l: 21 years old, Korean: 22 years old)

HEIGHT: 5'2'' (157.5 cm)

FACE CLAIM: basically anyone I can find, not any specific person :)

ROLE: vocals, composes, can rap (just about the same as any other vocal line member), can dance (about the same as any non-dance line member)

LANGUAGES: Korean, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean Standard Sign Language

CLOSEST TO: All of them (but lowkey Yoongi and Namjoon)

PERSONALITY:

-pretty tough, and will fight anyone (she's not afraid of confrontation, but knows how to disagree without causing a scene)

-curses a lot

-hates when people touch her (touch aversion), especially without her consent, but has gotten semi-used to the boys' clinginess

-loves music (well duh, that's her job), and can be seen humming or singing softly constantly, or blasting music in her room all day, every day

-frugal, and hates spending money (unless it's on gifts)

-hard to gain her trust, but once you have it, she will do practically anything for you, and if you break it, she will end you

-loves to goof off; mischievous

-will fall asleep anytime, anywhere (remind you of anyone???)

-on the outside, seems pretty "girly" but on the inside is more of a tomboy

-does NOT have romantic feelings towards her groupmates

Fun Facts:

-lived in Los Angeles for a brief period as a part of an immersion program

-met Amber [from f(x)] in LA, and has been best friends with her ever since

-her twin is deaf, so she grew up communicating with him using Korean Sign Language

-loves mint gum

-literally cannot sleep without some sort of music playing

-good friends with a lot of other idols, affectionately known as the "Social Butterfly"

-bi-curious

-very close to the members of Bigbang since they're all friends with her older brother (edit as of 3.14.2019: well that idea didn't age well, aka seungri wtf, but i still love bigbang minus him, so im just gonna pretend he doesn't exist)

-was accepted by the Big 3, but ended up going to BigHit for reasons yet unknown

-super active on social media

-loves baking

-steals everyone's clothes because (1) she doesn't want to buy new ones, and (2) they're more comfortable than hers

-will occasionally call the members "Hyung" instead of "oppa", but mostly because she thinks it's really funny (or she genuinely gets confused for a second)

-doesn't really like makeup, so it's more common to see her bare face

-reads fanfics occasionally just to see what people think her and her friends do (most of the time, they're completely incorrect and she can't help but laugh her ass off trying to picture them doing whatever's being written)
