"Betty! Betty! Elizabeth please! Come back!", Archie yells from across the diner car park, "I didn't mean to do it! It was a spur of the moment thing! I'm sorry!"

Archie's red hair falls down the side of his face as he stand ten feet away from me. His Riverdale high jacket sits just on his shoulders as his hands hang by his side, brushing past his dark blue jeans.

"For what? Sorry you didn't do it sooner or sorry you got caught?", I questioned Archie. My blonde hair falls off my pastel pink jackets shoulder, my heels sitting in a puddle of water next to Archie's car.

He paused before saying "I just," and pausing again in complete confusion. His eyes were looking sad and like they could cry at any moment. His lips were wide apart and I wasn't sure whether they would close.

"That's what I thought, you're not sorry you got caught, you're sorry you didn't do it sooner!", I say as tears start to form within my eyes as I looked right into his eyes. I could feel my fist tighten as the anger filled my body.

I hear the diner door open and see Jughead standing there looking at me and wanting to give me the world. I looked from Archie to Jughead and back again . Jugheads jacket hangs in his right hand and his beanie in the other. He takes one step forward and I run down the street to where Cheryl was waiting for me.

"Hey Arch, how was the trip?", I asked Archie as he takes a seat across from me at Pops. His red hair was perfectly pushed to the left side of his head and he had a massive smile across his face.

His face was glowing with excitement as he tells me about his summer. I listen to the whole story as he tells me how amazing it was to work with his dad. The way his face glowed the more he talked about his dad. Gosh, you could tell he missed being around his him.

He continued to talk for another half an hour as we continuously ordered milkshakes and fries. I listened to every single bit of his story from working with his dad to meeting this girl he liked. But when he mentioned this girl his face lit up like a candle.

Hold up, meeting a girl he likes! I didn't know he liked anyone. He tells me everything, why didn't I know about this? Oh my god, is this it? Is this the moment when we are no longer best friends? I mean I know we haven't spoken most of the summer but that was because we were both busy and beside he was finally visiting his dad this summer. I didn't want to mess that up!

"Oooooh, a girl you like, when was I going to hear about this?", I said to Archie in the most convincing voice since I was worried and anxious that we would no longer be best friends. I closed my lips together and smirked at Archie.

"You were, I just wanted to tell you everything else before the extra interesting part", he said whilst half laughing as he spoke. He grabbed his chocolate milkshake and took a big sip getting whipped cream on his face like a moustache.

"Sooooo, what does she look like? Oh come on Archie, you know me, I want all the details", I said with a massive smile on my face before ordering another round of drinks. Archie wiped the whipped cream from his face and his smile grew even more than before.

As he described each and every detail about her, I couldn't help but notice she sounded oddly familiar.

Every detail down to her long brown and pink hair with her tattoo that was shaped like a snake in the form of an 'S'. That tattoo, gosh that tattoo sounded so god damn familiar, why was it so familiar?

But before he could finish her name I already knew he was in bad territory. Her name was Toni Topaz, I only knew her because of my mother, Alice Cooper.

My mother was once the Queen of a vicious gang called, The Southside Serpents. My mother tried to continue as The Serpent Queen when she fell pregnant with my brother Charles Cooper, but unfortunately had to put it on hold till my brother started school. But once she fell pregnant with me she decided she didn't want that life for me, but she knew if she stayed I would have no choice. So, she gave up her Royalty and decided to leave that whole life behind her.

I looked at Archie and said, "Are you sure her name was really Toni Topaz?", my heart was scared for the answer that would follow that question. His smile dropped and confusion filled his whole face. His eyes got smaller and his eyebrows followed his eyes into his face.

Butbefore he could say anything my attention turned to this tall and darklymysterious figure entering Pops. He pulled down his hoody and standing therewas Jughead, Jughead Jones, the Prince of The Southside Serpents.
